Petition for next IB - Rank 5 reward guaranteed 320
Sign here. This is so bullshit. After working for the entire week to get Rank 5, I can do raid and get a better light level gear.
Bring back Reforging to IB weapons. Stupid bullshit grinding is made worse when RNG is not on our side with increased drop rates.
No wonder ppl are leaving this game, because the loot and gun rewards suck compared to the time put into it.

Having played many Iron Banners now, I will say that this one seemed particularly stingy... I played all week and I never saw anyone get a 320 anything... I did get a 319 Iron Shell, for which I am thankful, but geesus... the RNG was an extreme tightwad for every team I played with.

1 Replyif they remove the daily buff, sure lets face it, its way too easy to get to rank 5. While I would like the package to guarantee a 320, its not realistic they need to improve the post game drops though

2 RepliesMy friend got a 320 helmet. I got a 316 IB hand canon. Can't complain. My RNG drops were bad though. Got 3 pairs of boots. I was hoping for Camelot arms.

Edited by wizzer: 2/2/2016 5:54:23 PMI think rewards should be linked to the characters status, giving a player who is 289 a 320 for reaching rank 5 seems a bit over kill to me, likewise giving a guy who is 319 a 310 shell and a 313 helmet is a farce, i got better sparrow racing about every 5 runs by the time i leveled up. Last iron banner i got a 315 fusion and a 319 pulse when i was a lower level than 319 so i was keen to play again, but was totally pissed off with banner this time, 3x lvl 5, best item a 317 helm, no weapons over 308 ??? So Bungie should sort its self out, but it doesn't, the loot system has been broken forever, they know it, we still play, so they dont need to do anything... that why people are moving away. The only way to progress is the raid on hard, where else do you get weapons. especially primary ones, that are over 310, unless you were lucky in IB this time, so its accept the monotony of running the raid time after time, or decide thats not a game, its a 'status grind', and move on to another game........

Nope. Not a true endgame activity IMO, regardless of lightlevel requirement. You can casually play, level up, and still get 320 gear? Glad it's RNG based like the Raid which REQUIRES people to be on point and know what they are doing. This is coming from a guy who wishes the PVP in this game was a completely separate entity and not tied to Destiny at all. Get your broken multiplayer out of my single player game! ;)

How about rework the rewards period. Going up the ranks I got two ib scout rifles, several leg armor, and one or two chest armor. Not once did I get the fusion. Rank five I got 310 armor and ghost...but the drops stopped with the exeption of two ghosts, one 315 and the other 316. Although I did get both ships...so I guess it's not all bad.
