Now that the Oryx challenge has ended, tell me the dumbest thing you saw somebody do in one of your runs. * No name shaming pls! * Just the funny story ☺
I had a guy panic and jump off his platform and back on in phase 3 , i ask why, his response:
"To put melting point on my ogre man"
Facepalm!
Share funny stories below, but please, no name shaming. We've all made our own monumental fk ups before! Lol ☺
*Edit* I actually thought my guy was the silliest raid reaction ever, but your funny raid anecdotes in the comments are killing me lol, some serious wtf moments. Keep em coming, its a funny old read!

5 RepliesWe were about to kill oryx, just one more relic phase are we're done. 3rd phase is over, oryx heads to middle. Then, this guy sees a legendary engram RIGHT where the shade ball appears. He later dies from it, worst part it he was the relic runner. So, in short, we got screwed over cause I guy prioritized a purple thing over the ground over more purple things if we killed oryx. Kek

The first time we did it on hard when we got to finishing off oryx everyone just throw knifes and danced thinking we didnt all need to damage him ..... He killed us, not funny at the time

Guy on team kept jumping in the middle and getting killed by the hive ship and/or jumping of his platform before killing his knight to avoid dying.

We were doing the Oryx challenge way and when we were ready to detonate he went in to early and -blam!-ed us all :(

We were on our third cycle on oryx right. Three of my fireteam members run up to the front and get killed by the shade bubble spawning. They said they saw an engram lol.

1 ReplyI got some good players together to carry my friend who is not good because he has very little time to play and he said that he knew exactly how to do oryx. So we said great and we put him on platform number three. So we did the first phase and when it was time to blow up the orbs everyone ran to them and detonated and then all of a sudden my friend died and his bomb didn't detonate. So everyone was asking him why and he said that it must have glitched so we said ok and just revived him to try again. Then it happened again on the second phase. Now we were getting a little annoyed and he said this, "isn't the orb on my plate and I am just supposed to stand there until it says I have detonated it right? I do that every time and it never says it detonated." Then we all burst out laughing.

When we went to denotate.. my gf died coming back to bubble... and oryx didnt get enough damage... guy started yelling that it was because she died.... on the wipe screen it showed that he only denotated 2 bombs... he stayed quiet the rest of the raid lol

For me it was when we had our third platform person not telling us he didn't kill his knight until it was time to shoot oryx. We constantly told him to tell us if he needs help in taking it down, but for three rounds he didn't and every time his knight ate his orbs. We had to wipe that round since he died on the shade, so we kicked and found someone else and completed it 2 runs later.

This other guy who was really quiet the whole time screamed into his mic "YOU BASTARD" and all of us use all of our heavy and special trying to blow the crap out of his body. Everyone completely forgot about Oryx and he clapped, killing us all. I never did get to finish the challenge…

Sometimes I forget that if I jump off my plate to take cover, the runner falls off :p (Happened twice today)

2 RepliesI was one of the 2 Titans and we would activate blessings during a shade round depending on who went in first. It was me this time and I waited till there was a second player. When that happened I set up my bubble at which the second guy shot a rocket at the echo, at the same time, and died. We all had a laugh.

Had a guy who was obviously frustrated with wipes because he would sigh extra loud each time. The problem was, he was the one dying all the time and he was the one who joined us. To top it off, he hardly ever said a word, making it even harder when he wouldn't communicate that he hasn't killed his knight until the last second.

I died but we were close, told an adds guy to detonate my blight. When it was time, he just stood on my plate. That was all he did. Also, final round of oryx challenge mode hard. We were about to stagger him but SOMEONE detonates. And were like [i]shit.[/i]
