Now that the Oryx challenge has ended, tell me the dumbest thing you saw somebody do in one of your runs. * No name shaming pls! * Just the funny story ☺
I had a guy panic and jump off his platform and back on in phase 3 , i ask why, his response:
"To put melting point on my ogre man"
Facepalm!
Share funny stories below, but please, no name shaming. We've all made our own monumental fk ups before! Lol ☺
*Edit* I actually thought my guy was the silliest raid reaction ever, but your funny raid anecdotes in the comments are killing me lol, some serious wtf moments. Keep em coming, its a funny old read!

Was running golgoroth challenge and had him down to like 2%, while I had the gaze I just hear Anything explosion and see 3 people die. I ask what happened and I see one guy left in the pit and he says "I forgot I had corrupted light" I've still yet to complete golgoroth challenge

I was in a group and when we went to kill he knights on our platforms the team leader would always yell " knight knight knight" so we can focus on killing them. So one of the players got mad and was like " dude stop saying knight" and the team leader responded " well I can't yell day day day day" Then everyone started cracking up and the dude rage quit.

4 RepliesI told everyone to hold up during Golgoroth fight so that I could "Pop a primary synthesis." Relic runner was "practicing" jumping with his elite controller, and fell off a few times. We proceeded to call him a super noob :P all in good fun of course

This was never a problem before. But I jumped into the ship three times in a row. On hard.

In my first run of King's Fall we had finally got up to the totems. I was supercharged. Down at the front of the portal was a nice groups of Acolytes and adepts. Being the noob I was at the time I threw a Nova Bomb at them. This caused a wipe and everyone else lost their super charge. We all laughed.

we were against warpriest, and we had 5 guys left with about 5 or 6 percent health. Of course, some guy says; we got this in the bag! Immediately, 2 guys die. we still have the bare minimum though, so we press on. we get relic, go middle, and the guy dies after 10 seconds. we have him at about 2 percent now. the other guy gets relic and runs off. i try to chase him, dying in the process. this guy could have shot warpriest once or twice with his spindle, yet he starts KILLING ADDS. then he dies, and i kicked every the guy who cursed it.

the self res guy kept on dying. we would wipe. 10 seconds later: hey guys, you know i had self res right?? GOOD LORD ABOVE THIS MAN IS AN IDIOT.

I got kicked from Challenge mode Oryx because I was red bar from a Halo MCC download. The host said it was my fault we were lagging and I said "c'mon guys let's go." Everybody on his Fireteam left because they were all my friends and he begged for us to come back.

4 RepliesThe first group I tried it with was convinced it was three shades, not 16 orbs at once because as they put it, "Having that many orbs in game at once would crash the game".

melee a light eater with a sword right by the black orb while jumping off of a plate because he always did the no knight strat. we all blocked him instantly.

7 RepliesWatching the relic run jump to where the sniper platform would be instead of making the right turn to the true platform. Yes they panic jumped thinking that the second person had yet to jump on their platform.

after all 16 orbs had been detonated, oryx went in for the final bit and some idiot threw a bubble up in front of the entire team while they were firing. only one dude was standing outside the bubble doing damage so we had to restart.

Had one wipe total for three challenge completions. It was nice not having people do stupid shît like this.

This is a different scenario. Funny story..so a 302 joined and we were at the puzzle trying to get the exotic chests..we were waiting for 5 minutes until he got to the part where u had to pull ur ghost out and he goes, "I saw some thingy over here where u guys were jumping on, how do I piece those thingy together???!" *face palm* Kicked

Guy jumps off 1st plate way to early. "What are you doing?!?" Response-"he's done jumping on the plates that I formed".

We were doing numbered platforms, 1, 2, and 3.. I was 2.. halfway in I had a brain fart and forgot I was 2.. so I ran to 1 which was back right.. realized what I had done about the same time oryx slammed.. luckily the guy at the front left on 3 had the good sense to cover for me and jump to platform 2 at front right giving me enough time to jump on 3 and complete the sequence
