Now that the Oryx challenge has ended, tell me the dumbest thing you saw somebody do in one of your runs. * No name shaming pls! * Just the funny story ☺
I had a guy panic and jump off his platform and back on in phase 3 , i ask why, his response:
"To put melting point on my ogre man"
Facepalm!
Share funny stories below, but please, no name shaming. We've all made our own monumental fk ups before! Lol ☺
*Edit* I actually thought my guy was the silliest raid reaction ever, but your funny raid anecdotes in the comments are killing me lol, some serious wtf moments. Keep em coming, its a funny old read!

It didn't become a problem because I would usually find it and do things myself (because that's the only way to do something right) Well guy on top left needed help killing his so as I was helping him the one guy who never killed his didn't kill his (gasp) I got pissed and yelled at him, and he said, and I quote: "WHY TF DO YOU KEEP YELLING ABOUT THOSE -blam!-ING KNIGHTS BRO WE KILL THEM BEFORE ORYX EVEN SPAWNS WTF DUDE" I then proceed to face palm

Invited a guy at daughters. He stands there for a minute and says "normal raid isn't my thing" and leaves. O.o [spoiler]checked his character and he hadn't finished ANY raid![/spoiler]

2 RepliesWe were almost finished, just had to activate the blights. 3 of us run to the right corner. I turn around waiting to see my name 4 times and notice a team mate standing next to me. "WTF DUDE!" I yelled. 4th guy ran to the wrong corner.

Called door left ogre for our winning run, ended up running to the right. It worked out well because the right side guy ran left to begin with. Stupidity in pairs!

I had gotten some of my clan mates to help me out about Monday night since I hasn't finished even one Oryx Challenge mode and I wanted to get it done on my warlock at the very least. So, we get off to a great start, first run we failed to explain to one of our buddies who hasn't killed Oryx yet at all where he'd need to go for detonation so that turned into a wipe. We took a break, came back, first run is going perfectly, time for detonation. I'm the one that got my guys to help me out, I was the one desperate to get it done before reset. I didn't stay in my blights long enough when it was time to detonate, we detonated 15 blights. I had a self-res so I could've stayed there plenty long, but I got antsy and left a second too early. We wiped. There was an awkward silence and eventually I just kinda mumbled "uh... my bad guys, I um, yeah, I kinda screwed that up a wee bit." But we finished it on the next run. :)

Didn't happen to me, but I was listening in on my homies raid group. On the last run, they detonated all the blights and found to their shock that Oryx still had a sliver of health. Things quickly unraveled in the confusion. At the wipe screen, they find they were short one blighted light.

I did each run with a friend and 4 randoms. I have 2 manned VoG with this friend multiple times and 4 manned oryx so he is usually very good. On this occasion we did the entire challenge, I do a slow countdown to get into the orbs and blow them up... All of a sudden I hear an argument take place as my friend has gone to the wrong orbs! Thankfully a random had realised his orbs were taken and he switched sides. My friend was completely silent until I called him out and he realised we knew it was him xD.

We were doing the warpriest challenge and right in the middle of it a squeker says "I have sticky hands I have to go wash them" and just walks away... Needless to say we laughed a little bit and wondered how he got his hands sticky after we kicked him

1 ReplyWe were on the last phase for oryx and our runner was going for the relic. We could hear someone in the group arguing with their mother about bed time. The next thing we see is that the kid suddenly left the game and the party. His platforms disappeared and the runner fell. That group didn't finish to say the least. We only needed 2 more minutes and we would've had it.

1 ReplyEdited by JLoco11: 12/22/2015 9:12:04 PMMy team was doing our second characters... and we have everything down like clockwork killing ogres/knights etc. However, during the 3rd shade, we lost someone. So I had to float solo in the middle. Helped in the first 3 ogres, but kept falling behind on time. When the 4th ogre spawned, he took off and ran into the middle of the map, away from the corrupted light. By time I chased him down, it was time to shoot oryx, and I forgot about the knight. Instead of taking the runaway ogre light, he took 1 of the 3 in the normal spot! So we couldn't detonate, we had to do ANOTHER shade run down a man. On the 5th and final run, I was completely out of ammo (got picked for the shade first). When ogres were spawning, I'm trying to kill them with ToM and it just wasn't happening. We had 4 ogres all over the place on the 5th run. We had knights running around barely getting killed, people self reviving... it was the giant clusterf#ck that ruins runs. It came time to detonate, and we scrambled to get the 3/4 orbs and tried to hit up additional orbs along the way. All because I lost track of time and the final knight. We did it, lost half the team and the 3 remaining guys took down Oryx.

The sad thing is that he did it 3-4 times... I don't know if he was too tired to focus since he waited all night for Oryx challenge to come out or just stupid. Lol

So I posted on here saying I need 3 for challenge oryx. I then receive a message from a guy who volunteered to help, so I send him and inv. I then see he is a 282 and boot him.5 min passed by and we still needed three I come back to post and the guy put on almost every forum "what's with kicking first timers" not really a challenge mode story but I just thought I'd share with y'all

This wasnt kings fall but crotas end. A buddy of mine was sword bearrer we had wiped alot. We were on the last sword and we said go hit him and he said naw im a pascifist as a joke then went to smack crota stood up ohk. We gave him so much shit
