Abusing final round snipers is a cheap exploit. You are a loser if you abuse this perk.
Final round is beyond abused in ToO, it is pathetic, people who abuse it are losers who cannot aim headshots. It is unfair that people can use it and others have no access to it. It should be removed entirely.
Edit - Notice how I said "if you abuse this perk" it's fine if you have it, not if you abuse it. Please read before you comment something that makes you look stupid.
Edit 2 - For you idiots who seem to not be aware... Final round has been removed from being rolled/rerolled into snipers and can only seen on pre HoW gear (ex. Like the Spear from iron banner). So please stop with "rerolling exists" yes it does... But not with that perk.
Edit 2.5 - This is a small one for all the people commenting "how do you even abuse this" its called ammo dumping. You empty your sniper mag to the final round to get a OHK bodyshot. Most popular among elitist Ef. Spear users. Keyword here guys ABUSE.

Edit 3.5 - Changed "basically cheating" to
"A cheap exploit" because salty ladd's did not like that word and I can understand why. Exploit is a fair and proper definition for what is being done with this perk.

To all those people, I'm aware, I beat people that have it in ToO all the time, but its not fair that I have to aim for their head while they look anywhere to shoot for a kill.

6 Repliesi use it and burn off ammo intentionally at the beginning of every round, sometimes multiple times a round. i will continue to do so until they use normal playlist maps, address thorn, and the shotgun cancer

I personally think it teaches bad habits and essentially dumbs down the skill required to be a great sniper. I've seen games where people literally sit in head glitches and aim for feet. It's not broken, but it is really stupid that it makes for a OHK everytime it activates. I rerolled one of my spears just to get it, and I only use it now if I see others using theirs lol.

I have a sniper with that perk. I'm not a good sniper so I don't use it. People who are using it are just playing with a tactical advantage.... that's something only an idiot would choose NOT to do. People play to win and using the weapons to their full potential doesn't seem to be an exploit to me. In ToO those using the perk are taking a risk by wasting secondary ammo. Keep them off of special ammo crates. They'll be screwed.

I'm sorry but the main point of your argument is that it's unfair that some people have it and others can no longer get it. Sounds like a case of sour grapes. Final round sniping has been around for a long time. It was no secret. There are plenty of videos demo'ing the perk. So unless you just started playing Destiny with HoW, you had plenty of time to try and procure a final round sniper. Btw, the Gozen-C used in the video from months ago, still drops. It's probably not as effective in IB or Trials but it still effective in regular crucible. In case you do not get the sour grapes reference: used to refer to an attitude in which someone adopts a negative attitude to something because they cannot have it themselves.

2 RepliesIt's not really an exploit. I mean if someone wants to waste all of their precious ammo just for a single kill...be my guest. Your practically throwing away ammo just for. Single kill so you can wait 5 minutes later for another single kill. Seems legit.

I got a blue sniper from strikes that rolled final round. Works the same in regular crucible for me

Mine has performance bonus for the other perk. So beautiful when that final round kill pops another final round into my magazine ;)

Edited by ObscuraAbyssus: 6/30/2015 3:58:03 AMGet over it boohoo, i have a spear with final round which i barely use, you're just looking for an excuse to justify your deaths by fr shots, ammo dumping has a downside too which leaves you with no ammo if you miss your shots, i have encountered plenty of idiots who were forced to use their thorn since they ran out of ammo. Final round is there for a reason if the owner/user wants to take a shortcut to the last bullet then they are more then welcome to, instead of bitching about it find a way to change your strategy and work your way around it.

14 RepliesI use it 24/7 in Doubles and Trials lmao. I hold a 1.5 KDR across 3 characters. There is literally nothing you people can do about it, just keep leaving the game after inspecting your opposing team and give me a free win. Even if you stay, you'll ether loose or leave partway. I absolutely cannot wait until private matches are released so after people call me a scrub for using it, I can fûcking annihilate them in a 1v1. Before you say I'll use it there, hell no. I love beating honest players in any FPS game who accept a 1v1.

I have 4 snipers with final round and I prefer to use a shotgun.
