Losers who want the Thorn altered need to understand one thing
No matter what, most PvP players will be better than you, they will most likely always use the strongest and best weapons available, and you will always cry and complain because you will always lose.
Don't bring a knife to a gunfight , & , GIT GUD SCRUB X-))

I'm convinced the only people that are upset about the nerfing of thorn and TLW are those that depend on it.

14 RepliesAnyone who has Thorn deserves it being OP. The bounty is ridiculous (for those who suck at PvP) probably the hardest bounty... Unfortunately for Thorn havers, the crying thin skinned generation get what they cry for because they bitch the loudest.

It could probably use a nerf in PVP but I say leave it as it is in PVE.

No to the first, yes to the second and highly sceptical to the last. Players who crutch on Thorn (the ones who wants it as it is now - totally broken) are the ones struggling with PvP. The good players are the ones who can get their kills using other primaries. Players cater to the strongest weapons - of course. But it is in my belief that combat should not be about the gun, rather about how you use it. As for the last, I think the players losing their crutch weapon will be the ones crying the most - they will either A) have to find another gun or B) keep struggling. That is if the nerf works. I am a bit sceptical because while Bungie did adress part of the flawed features on the weapon, they did forget the main issue with it. Not the damage of the DoT but rather the [b]time your health is kept down[/b] after getting hit.

Yes they will be better. Yes I will die a lot. But when 25% of the community can quickly 2 headshot you cross map in iron banner, it can get a little frustrating.

It's when you escape and you still die due to the poison, that's why it needed the nerf, to stop that happening as often [spoiler]that and a range nerf[/spoiler]

I have thorn fully upgraded and finished first flawless trials with it and understand it needs a nerf the range is that of a sniper and 2 shoting people is stupid last word is a better weapon in general because it takes more then 2 shots to kill someone and rewards people who have good accuracy

Tell me, how do you defend an exotic that: •Can two shot you. •Has the second fasted RoF among handcannons. •Has good to great stability. •Can compete with scout rifles, and some sniper rifles. •Has a decent mag size. •Decent reload speed. •Has a perk that keeps the opponents shield down for an extra 5 seconds. •Said perk takes down 1/6 of the opponents health by itself. •Is the most used exotic in the crucible. •Is one of two exotics used by top tier players. •One of the highest aim assist of handcannons. But hey! It's balanced right?

I'm a thorn user. And thorns nerf is not silly. It is a must along with TLW. They are too strong and give an awful advantage to the user against other players. It dominates. Simple as that.

When it comes to thorn its like this dont bring a scout rifle to a thorn fight or a sniper to a thorn fight cause thorn always wins when u have a wepon that defeats the purpose of having other wepon classes it needs to be nerfed

4 RepliesI'm a winner who uses weapons that take skill, I'm happy that Thorn is being nerfed due to the overuse and endless spam that came with it. I get that top tier guns are to be used, but if something is used that much, most of the players aren't actually good at the game. Sure there's a few in there, but the amount of bad out ways the good in that scenario.

7 RepliesI think the thorn is somewhat op (I have it) you do have to grind to get it but two head shot is tough to defeat in crucible I don't have a problem with nerfing it but I don't want to see it nerfed to the degree that it is worthless like most auto rifles (my opinion)

Actually thorn did need a slight adjustment. But really the only thing wrong was its range. Frankly I have no problem dropping peeps in trials who only use thorn.

Also it takes 2 shots and your dead( requiring little to no skill) and finally, get over it scrub its gunna change XD.
