Losers who want the Thorn altered need to understand one thing
No matter what, most PvP players will be better than you, they will most likely always use the strongest and best weapons available, and you will always cry and complain because you will always lose.
Don't bring a knife to a gunfight , & , GIT GUD SCRUB X-))

7 RepliesIMO best weapon available is the MIDA multi tool. For PvP it is complete ass if you don't use scouts or aren't used to it. But in the right hands you are a monster. This weapon takes true skill, unlike the exotic hand cannons. Just stating my 2 cents:)

6 RepliesNot only that, the weapon bounty is a pain in the ass too and takes forever to complete. The only people who are complaining are those who have never acquired thorn and have never grinded bounties every day to get it.

Personally I think it's more a matter of adding variety into the Crucible. I usually switch between Thorn, One/ One Synesthete, Atheon's Epilogue and occasionally Bad Juju. It's true that the more skilled players can still get kills with other weapons, but making them a viable option is, I think, the main focus with a lot of the nerf requests going on. Not that it validates griping.

Been playing Destiny since Day One and had thorn way back before the patch. I remember how I had none of the OP weapons like suros or g-horn etc. Yet after the patch I noticed how greatt thorn became it's 84 headshot plus 7 DOT for bout 4/5 seconds make it do more damage than timurs lash/ill will/ hawkmoon unless you get lucky with a proc. The guarantee to burn is what makes the gun deadly so my idea is that in PvE it always burn but a guardians light protects it against some of the Darkness so it it has a chance but it is extremely unlikely for two/three consecutive bullets to do burn damage to a guardian. But it's range stat along with other handcannons need to be nerfed and ale range matter which is difficult since most maps are largely CQC which is why shottys are so deadly. However that's a different matter entirely which I think KackisHD summarises and corrects almost perfectly in his YouTube video

4 RepliesI would like the Thorn altered. Not necessarily nerfed, but in its current state it outclasses every other gun in the game because of its versatility. It should not be able to function at close and long ranges with the efficiency that it does. Every other gun has a niche, why is this one the exception? That said, I would be happier if the other weapons were brought up to the Thorn's level, rather than knocking the Thorn down. >inb4 git gud scrub, etc. My stats speak for themselves. I don't need a crutch weapon to compete in the crucible. I prefer No Land Beyond, it's much more satisfying to play with :)

The general hand cannon nerf and then their own specific nerf. Its the vex mythoclast all over again. Except the mythoclast was really the definition of op when it first appeared but then it got nerfed into to the ground AND THEN 6 feet under when all fusion rifles got nerfed. It sucked for awhile but now its not bad but still.

I don't think the best players are the ones that use the best weapons like thorn/last word. They just have the best arsenal, or best chance of winning, a last word is a guaranteed 3-4 shot kill while the thorn most likely kills in 2-4 shots. But let's face it, no land beyond has to be best.

Sure sounds like you have alot of skill buddy. Douchebags like you are the reason your gay gun got nerfed. Git gud skrub, check my stats, i dont use a thorn. I also mainly play pve. So your argument is invalid.

My question is what's the next OP exotic? Hard light lol witch is just funny or Mida? I'm going with Mida myself it's already a great gun but with nothing being able to keep up with it other than vision, it'll be the next top exotic.

I heard thorn will kill in the same amount of body shots. So people good a getting heads shots will always be good. And people not good at getting head shots will be the same. I think the people who think all of a sudden there k/d is gonna rise, are in for a rude awakening.
