Losers who want the Thorn altered need to understand one thing
No matter what, most PvP players will be better than you, they will most likely always use the strongest and best weapons available, and you will always cry and complain because you will always lose.
Don't bring a knife to a gunfight , & , GIT GUD SCRUB X-))

I don't care if it keeps it's 2 hit kills, it's range and accuracy should be more similar to that of a long range shotgun then a scout rifle. Go shoot a smith and wesson 500 magnum or a desert eagle and see if you can even hit the target at 20 yards without taking several seconds between shots. Shoot all 5 rounds in the S&W and see if your hand doesnt start to hurt. They are not rifles. B4 replies. I know this is not real life. The guns however are made in the real world's likeness and should act accordingly to what we understand for each fun to have its place.

Seeing as I can rek thorn scrubs with a hard light and it's not buffed is pretty funny. Wait till that buff mother-blam!-ers :D

Haha git gud scrub just made my day. And I'm tired of reading everybody up in arms about this gun switch. I find it a fun change of pace for the game for pve and especially pvp. We will all struggle a little to find the next best fit for a gun for ourselves. The strong players will still be strong and the scrubs will continue to beg for a new nerf/buff.

Absurd: 'most players will be better than you. ' Laughable assumption and simply click-bait. Millions of users is a hard number to justify your rationalization that the Strongest players gravitate to the very best few guns. It's the opposite: the most powerful guns are attractive to those who can't compete with the various other weapons. Add in Last Word over-range goof they are going to correct soon-ish, or Thorns' 1st+Last Round type bugs in a competitive gaming world and its to be expected people will 'game the game'. I started a Thorn bounty in the first month of release and it took weeks to complete. Annoying as hell. My second bounty, post-buff, only took me one Saturday morning. No, most players will not be better and even the tippy-top best have bad matches. It's broken and anytime one or two weapons are easiest to counter with itself, then I can graph an imbalance. Bungie has admitted Hand Cannons should not out-range Scouts, for one example. I like a challenge and refuse to use these guns: and I'm better player and teammate for it.

1 ReplyThorn is easy to beat with a high impact pulse rifle with good stability.(I'm looking at you, the messenger) TLW however, you just have to hope the guy misses his extremely fast fan fire. I want thorn nerfed because I used to like it pre-buff and then post-buff, the whole pvp is saturated with it and it is insanely cheap. Great range, 2 headshot and then run like a pussy. I've done it just like everyone else but even though I can compete with thorn or whatever with the messenger or other random weapons, I still think its bad for destiny to have one or two guns everyone chooses over everything. The counter argument is buffing everything else but then you have extremely fast ttk times where, they just look at you and your dead. That isn't fun either.

1 ReplyWho cares how hard it was for your 23 day grind to get thorn. You guys don't understand that this weapon changes if not RESTRICTS certain.. actually MOST playstyles. Thorn in essence the way you "get gud scrub" is by being a PU"BLAM"Y and head glitching or wall popping. Because the thorn is a hand canon you only have to land 3 shots basically to kill anyway. You pop out, shoot, go to cover, repeat. How ANNOYING. Most people don't let their bodies get exposed for enough time for a single pulse from a pulse rifle. Which is GARBAGE. Is that where you want pvp to gravitate to? Cuz eventually it will result in the 400 thorn owners left in the game wall popping in crucible and nothing else. Wow how cool is that? Your an idiot.
