I am kind of happy this gives people time to get ready without dying from lack of sleep haha. What does everyone think?

We will need that time or maybe even longer to be at a gear level that stands a chance. You won't be able to hit 20 and waltz in. I think they said you need at least enough mote of light gear to reach 25?
-
This'll just be another talking point for fanboys to rally around when the reviews come out. "LOL! *game outlet here* published their review before The Glass Vault was available! CAN'T TRUST GAMING JOURNALISTS!!! GAMERGATE QUINNSPIRACY!!!" Or something along those lines...
-
Time to get ready. I'm here at Bungie and after talking with some folks, were going to need it. Apparently the Vault is Hard, like really Hard, from people who have designed parts of this Game. So gear up, get ready however you can, this ones going to be a challenge. U up for it?

1 ReplyI am going to take my time and enjoy the game. What's the rush.
I am kind of happy this gives people time to get ready without dying from lack of sleep haha. What does everyone think?
Maybe this video can help you get to level 25 before then. My power leveling guide for the release of destiny has tons of great tips and tricks!

It's a good thing. I'm sure a lot of people have an idea of what's in store for them in VoG....but a lot of other people are going to get a rude awakening when they try it for the first time. Besides, Bungie wants people to see and explore the wonderful world they've created....not rush through it in a mad dash for the endgame.

41 RepliesIf you can get to level 25 in a week them you need to reevaluate your life. The beta was accelerated leveling, and it will take longer. Unless you're unemployed and not searching for a job during the day then it will be nearly impossible.
-
2 RepliesI think it's to save the hopeless guardians that attempt to tackle it alone, or undermanned : )
-
1 ReplyWho cares? We won't even be ready to play the Vault come 9/16, anyway. Just chill.
-
8 RepliesEveryone rushing to the Vaults good luck! I'm taking my time in this game and explore every corner, cave and road! Been waiting for more then a year for this game so I want to enjoy it and make it last!
-
4 RepliesI like it because it gives people that work for a living a shot at defeating the GV instead of living at home no job mofos. (I am jealous) Or the professional gamers beating it before us norms get into it.
-
I think it looks like you'll have to make die with the campaign and pvp for 6 days.
-
Does it worry anyone else that Bungie is saying you can be ready to tackle the hardest content in their game in only a week?
-
I think its great. It will give me time to put together a good and diverse team.
-
This is really standard fare for any MMO that launches or has an expansion. And it's a good thing. Gives people time to not panic about having to level up as fast as possible. And let them take their time somewhat.
-
I doubt anyone's making it to the vault of glass in 7 days anyways, no big deal.
-
Since we need to level up and gear up. A week is no big deal. I don't mind.
-
1 ReplyKind of worried that we'll be reaching level cap that fast tbh.
-
Awesome
-
I think good.
-
There's no reason to stop people from playing it on day 1. The kind of people determined to be the first to run through it are the same people who won't really care about taking the time to enjoy the story. I'll play the Raid when I'm good and ready, and I think that'll take me longer than a week.
-
I think it's fine. Gives people a chance to get geared and understand the dynamics of the game beforehand
-
I think there will still be a lack of sleep for some. We have to be ready which means we need awesome builds and awesome gear before taking on the challenge so that we're most prepared.
-
it's good, gives everyone a nice even chance to be the first. I have a feeling most won't be ready by even then, but I intend to be.

I agree with you 100%
