Quickest way to level up weapons
I usually just equip telemetry and the gun and then turn in a handful of bounties. I'm trying to upgrade a couple guns for Banner and I don't know if that's going to do it in time. Is there a more effective way to use my time?

2 Repliesrotate the weapon you are trying upgrade through all of your characters (if you have others), then turn in bounties on each.

Like most have said wait till you have a full bounty list ready then pop a telemetry, cash them in. Then, if possible go complete a couple of short strikes bumped up to 30 and/ or a couple of fast bounties. Mind you I don't play everyday so usually I have 2 rounds of bounties to work with. Rinse repeat with your other toons. ;)

30 x 100 xp bounties and 3 telemetries is need for an exotic weapon. I don't remember the number of bounties for a legendary one.

Bounties, take telemetry, cash in bounties. Pass to next character and repeat. Finish off by doing some Roc strikes and you can upgrade it fully in a day.

3 RepliesEdited by HIGGZY420: 3/16/2015 3:03:32 PMTelemetries turn in ten bounties then I usually go on patrol and do as many missions as i can while the timer is still counting down. I don't go out of my way to look for VIP missions but if I see them I do them first as they give the most xp.
