Best way to get the Gjallarhorn(opinion)
Best way to achieve a Ghallarhorn, is getting them from [b]"Nightfall, Raids, Trials and Legendary Engrams"[/b]. Every time you do a raid, you have at least 2 chances of getting the Gjallarhorn{Example: VoG Templar chest and Atheon, Crota Death singer and Crota}.
PoE are a waste of time and Treasure Keys, i do not recommend doing them if your purpose is to get a Gally.
"[b]Warning Math Ahead[/b]*
[u]3[/u] Characters at least lvl34 x (2 Vog Exotic Reward x 2 Crota Exotic Reward + 1 Nightfall + 2 Gold Pck Trials + 1 Mercury Chest= [u]8[/u] Chances for Gally Drop) = [u]24[/u] Chances of Gally drop in total/per week.
≈ Heavy Legendary Engram = (1.82% Exotic Drop + (1/4 = 25%) Chance to get a Gally to Drop) = [u]0.0728[/u]% Gally Drop.
*[b]Summary[/b]*
- Complete Raids, Nightfall, Strike Dragon = % of Exotic Drop and Weekly Heroic for a Legendary engram %
- Try to get a Solid team from [b]destinylfg.net [/b] for Trials and go after the 9 win streak for the extra 1% chance.
*[b]Tips[/b]*
- Try to get the checkpoints you need and transfer them to your other Characters. So you don't need to do them again.
- In trials, buy the [b]Favor[/b] and the [b]Boon[/b] before starting a Trials Passage. Then after 4-5 wins by the [b]Mercy[/b].
-Keep a consistent habit to do each and single Raids, Nightfall and etc, every week. Eventually, you will get a taste of OP.
Hopefully for you new comers or struggling guardians that are trying to get the Infamous God Weapons, may this help you. Just so you know, i got my 3 Gally's from Nighfall, a Legendary Engram and Raids (Crota).

I have edited my post and ROC method was a previous dark below trick. I have now updated to a proper way to get the GOD Weapon. These are the ways i earned mine and consistently. If you do not believe my exp, go check my Character for any further details.

Doing all exotic checkpoints like Vog chest. Atheon. Death singer. Crota. Night falls. Weekly and daily's for legendary engrams. Rarely get stuff from PoE chest.

Never got one from a legendary engram. Do crota raid solo. Norm, then hard. Got 4 from there.

Nightfall and raids. I got 2 from the archon priest nightfall And 1 from killing Crota on normal.

No real way to say you get it here or there, but I do think each character has a loot table assigned to them as my hunter an warlock has had crappy drops in the 30 days combined play time, but my 3rd class has been deleted 3-4 times but it now seems my Titan has a loot table for the best guns as I've managed 2 gallys an a Hawkmoon in last 2 weeks.

2 RepliesIf you are unable to get the gjallarhorn, check your grimoire cards. If you have the gallajorn card, but have never received the actual gjallarhorn, that means that your account is probably glitched and you will never be able to receive it via RNG. Your only option is to start completely over on a new online profile. This time don't enter any codes to unlock in game items.
