Whats the point of raids when....
What's the point of having raids and stuff when all anyone wants to do is cheese... The game was fun as -blam!- when u actually had to go through with your group and skillfully defeat bosses... It upsets me that I can't find raid groups that want to actually play the game... 90% of you just cheese/glitch through anything u possibly can.. What's the point? .. If I were a Christmas noob and went into my first few raids and found out all anyone's been doing this whole time is glitching through bosses.. Id be bummed out... Like what's the point of the game then? More than half of you don't even play the full availability of this game.. U make doubles or triples of characters.. Play only certain game modes and then u go and glitch through bosses cuz its " quicker" and more convenient... Wtf how is any of that fun... If I want cheat codes to get everything free.. I'll play some gay ass game that has cheat codes to get everything free... This game is meant to be played not glitched through... Congrats if u have all your gear already.. Now what? I still kill u in crucible no problem.. With all 3 class types lol

Edit: and at least some of you have good points of why u do it... But the vast majority is just people who feel self entitled and or has nothing to back up a word they say.. They just cheese through life any way they can blah blah I heard it all.. Most of you suck.. Thanks for the replys that have some thought.. screw you to all that have no valid reason of even why u cheese.. Some of you I understand why.. Don't agree.. But I understand.. But the majority... I'm sure you can start a "legit" recruitment thread. Live and let live. You're not special for playing through legitimately every time though. We're just being more efficient. I subscribe to RNCheeseUs until I get me goods. I still run legit with the right group as long as your quick about it. Don't waste my time!

For the cheesers, the fun is in getting loot and making a powerful guardian as fast as possible even though cheesing isn't always faster.

1 ReplyEvery single raid team that I have worked with has cheesed Crota. I have never beat him legitimately. It does kind of get on my nerves.

2 RepliesWhenever I recruit for a raid, I always say no cheesing and my friends refuse to cheese as well. The game is more fun and more challenging to play the way it was intended to be.

2 RepliesI understand your frustration, but at the end of the day they only get loot once per character per week per raid. They can cheese it 10 times to your 1 legit on a weekly basis. Any drops they get you are just as likely to receive while your doing other things like bounties,public events, and the crucible. Okay maybe not the crucible.

The last run I had on crota, we got the deathsinger down in 2 tries, maybe 10 minutes tops. A couple of weeks ago it seemed impossible. I think people will stop cheesing when they feel more comfortable in there.

The raid can be ran by a single person without dying once. Therefore, Crota's End is not a raid. It is a long mission or strike. Raid matches can not be ran solo.

1 ReplyI would love to go through the raid normally, but I went through the whole raid and my team, at the last second, announced that we were cheesing it. I didn't want to miss out on all the rewards so I stayed.

2 RepliesSo let me get this straight based on some of the comments. 99/100 times people cheese the raid.....so the people complaining about it have only been through the raid 1 time then or not played it at all? Or did you end up following everyone else and finished that slice of cheese?

BTW, I'm having three of a kind because I've already had all three classes and I'm not happy with hunter and warlock but I want to do raids, nightfalls etc. three times. It has nothing to do with cheesing or glitching, since it's one way to play the game as it is meant to be.
