Why are you quitting?
I'm leaving not only because the game is not what I expected but also because the Destiny community sucks and because the devs arnt making any thing that is going to make this game better.

Halo, GTA V, Lack of good decisions from Bungie, over priced and underwhelming DLC that I unfortunately bought into, lack of community support, No hope for new good music from Bungie, no hope of a good story ever again from Bungie. They have alot of catching up to do before I jump back on their boat.

1 ReplyBecause I figured it out. Destiny is a filler game. A game put out to hold peoples attention between a huge summer released game and the beginning of the holiday era releases. Assassins creed cod battlefield and more, then dlc comes out before Christmas to try and bump numbers. With games coming out some wont return until after the new year because Bungie dropped the ball with this game. Unnecessary nerf's, connection issues, hot fixing with moronic fixes, a broken and laggy multiplayer and more.

I'm not. If folks are leaving, the game just didn't grab them and that's fine. It's the justifications that confuse me sometimes. Had a friend call destiny repetitive and is leaving to play CoD, saying it's different every time. He was comparing Destiny PvE to CoD multiplayer. Other folks cite lack of story and whatnot, I too am a bit disappointed on that regard but I think it's because I'm comparing it more traditional campaign shooters like Halo.

Same reasons. Also, RNG sucks. With the MCC coming out next week, and Dragon Age in a few weeks, I'll be too busy anyways. I can't trade it in since I got it digitally. And since I bought the guardian edition I have already paid for the DLC. So I will come back and visit from time to time. Hopefully it gets better. I had to do the same thing with vanilla Diablo 3, it did eventually get a lot better.

Because borderlands the pre-sequel has splitscreen and i have a gaming wife. And borderladns has better story, better characters, better endgame, better weapons and better loot. Still like Destiny though, i just don't have time to ^play it the last month or so.

I was going to stop and go to my dream cast for a bit but my friend and I convinced my little brother to buy it so now we just -blam!- in crucible while watching my brother be on the bottom lol it's better when you know someone as well when we did rumble yesterday he just kept raging at me xD completely worth the satisfaction.

Not quitting, rather taking a break. Will be busy with MCC and Far Cry 4, but I will still play it on the weekends.
