Why are you quitting?
I'm leaving not only because the game is not what I expected but also because the Destiny community sucks and because the devs arnt making any thing that is going to make this game better.

I'm not, rendering the point moot, but not out of blind loyalty or anything (because I want to take a dump on Bungie's marketing desk) but out of belief that it's just a really REALLY rocky start. Diablo 3 wasn't any better. Hell, that was even more of a money grab than Bungie is pulling. Defending the cash-gold Auction House until the very last second it outlived it's usefulness and then a complete 180. But they turned it around. Eventually. And Diablo 3 is actually good now (if you like that kind of thing that is) so I don't see why Bungie can't.

Dev's don't give a -blam!- about players or fixing their game and actually keeping players. It's sad that the Beta had more players than the actual game at this point, and that should be screaming truth at them

2 RepliesDoesn't anyone realize that in cod and other shooters you literally prestige or just level up with the same guns, over, and over, and over, and over. Most people complain that destiny is bad and boring because your doing raids and crucible over, and over, and over to get rewards that come at random. What's the difference? Destiny is a pretty great game and just because it's not what you expected and wanted is no reason to criticize. To say it's boring is saying any game is boring. They're all just rinse and repeat for rewards unless you just play the game to have a nice time. Stop complaining and enjoy the game or stop playing altogether.

4 RepliesA myriad of reasons. The mind numbing redundancy of the whole thing for starters. The fact the game doesn't count properly (get 3 kills with my super 5 times and it credits me for 2, do the Winters Run strike without dying and get credit for the "without dying" bounty but not the Winters Run bounty-pissed me off to no end that did), players sitting in the spawn not participating and still getting full credit, Bungie forcing payers to sit out in the middle of the Vault with big shoot me signs on their chests-basically forcing us to play stupid instead of using strategy, asking 1/3 the original game price for 1/10th the content for the dlc, the lack of a descent survival mode (not some POS firefight rip off either) and much more. Have become very disillusioned with this POS of a game lately.

I have wayyyyy to many exotics to quit and raid gear :) Thorn, Suros Regime, Universal Remote, Hardlight, Red Death, Gjallarhorn, Truth (the only wep I bought from xur) and right now I'm on the bounty for pocket infinity. And the only weps I'm missing from the raid is the fatebringer, and vex mythoclast, and I have all the raid gear on my Titan and hunter. And I have less time than most people do in this game lmao 150 hours vs 250+ hours so I think I'm doing pretty good

Doing raid week after week and I am still 29. Never get any drops. Time to move onto Advanced Warfare.

Halo, GTA V, Lack of good decisions from Bungie, over priced and underwhelming DLC that I unfortunately bought into, lack of community support, No hope for new good music from Bungie, no hope of a good story ever again from Bungie. They have alot of catching up to do before I jump back on their boat.
