Xur ruined the crucible... AGAIN!!
I think this picture sums it up pretty good.
I remember the last time Xur sold the Suros Regime, the crucible was so -blam!-ing annoying to play. Nearly everybody above 20 was running around with the suros regime. A few days later it wasnt that bad anymore because most people stopped using it after the Focused Fire. upgrade.
The problem now is, the weapon [u]without[/u] the perk "Focused Fire" is so OP in the crucible. Last time people just upgraded it and didn't like the slow fire rate. They choose to use another AR with a higher fire rate.
But now everybody gets a [u]second[/u] Regime and they leave it as it is. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy about those people who finally can use the suros now in pve. But this gun ruins the pvp experience. It's just -blam!-ing boring when everyone runs around with it.
Do you think it needs a nerf? Or the other weapons a buff? Let me know what you think

Yeah you should buy two Suros. Just hope they don't get nerfd.That would be too bad for the wasted strange coins.

I never said I want this gun to be nerfd. Learn to -blam!-ing read. I just want your opinion on how you feel when nearly everybody uses this godamn auro rifle. Where is the variety?!

I don't believe the gun deserves to be nerfed. Most people aren't willing to buy two suros...so ultimately I would imagine that they would end up upgrading it and not "ruining it" for crucible play by leaving it as is. (I've upgraded for slower fire rate while zoomed in and I still love it for PVP...)

Lot's of players will an excuse why they're not doing good in pvp and blame it on every weapon better than average saying they're OP. Then Bungie come along, see the post and nerf the shit out of them. Making them at the same level as a rare weapon. Not only that, they're nerfed for the pvp experience which totally ruins the weapons for PvE, which is the majority of the game. Most people don't even use shotguns in PvP anymore, they've switch, fusion rifles or snipers or just stuck to using they're main. Since the update, I've never seen anyone use it in PvE, because the fusion rifles and snipers do a better job, even at close range. I think people should just accept the fact that they're not that great at Destiny PvP instead of ruining it and PvE for the rest of us

4 RepliesI use The Last Word for pvp..i have a suros and i used it a lot because it was my first exotic. But the my hand cannon makes it fun. Who cares what gun people use? Everyone plays the game how they want.

2 RepliesYou are clearly someone who has never picked up the suros regime and tried to play PvP with it when it doesnt have the upgrade to a slower fire rate it goes from a 4-5 shot gun to a 6-7 shot gun.....So OP ????? Really are you kidding me, the gun has the same stats as the shingen when its not upgraded so shut your mouth and quit making up things to whine about that don't exist.

What i find works great against the suros is an invective to the ear hole. At range my legendary pulse is better than suros. So they get mid range good for them they made that choice.

Suror is a great gun. So is Last Word, so is Thorn. I think things are pretty balanced. What the Destiny angerbase seems to think is that the game will always be balanced, but this game is, in fact, based upon imbalance. The whole idea is imbalance. If it were balanced, there would be no supers, there would be no heavy, and so on. The point of the game is to shift imbalance toward your team through a better selection of teammates that fit your playstyle. Similarly, if you're up against Suroses, that means you close the gap. Suros excels at mid-long range, so take it to short range. Shift the imbalance so that their primary is rendered less effective.

2 RepliesIn all honesty, there is a lot of people using the Suros Regime right now, but it doesn't bother me. Most people go for the best gun in the game because they want to be the best. With that said, just because its one of the best guns in the game doesn't mean its overpowered. The Suros is fine as it is and can be countered against.

I think that if I buy the game and grind to get the weapons I want, nobody has the right to tell me or Bungie how I should or shouldn't be playing it. Life is so much fun when you're not concerned with what other people do, especially in an online game. Quit crying or quit playing.

Wait, do people really intentionally not upgrade it? The whole point of the gun are its damage buffs. It's just a good AR as is.

I think a lot of the players, who aren't very good, assume its a certain gun and then come on here and spout BS. This is how a game gets nerfed into a game of patty cake. As awesome as the Suros Regime is, I wouldn't use it. I already have an exotic special weapon that I love. So I wouldn't even equip it. My blue Galahad-E does just fine in the Crucible. Anticipation, aim and control are still king. Exotics don't make up any skill gap. They just tilt the balance a little in a straight up gun fight between two equally skilled players who also saw each other at the same exact time. **Edit: My mistake on the first paragraph. Well, at least, the first few sentences. I finally noticed the gray bar that says the gun name lol. I still don't like it when guys die to a certain gun a lot, but its because they were out played, not out gun classed. Besides, everyone can get Exotics and Legendaries. It just takes time. I do just fine with my rare Galahad. Guns don't do it all.

1 ReplyYou do understand that the suros isn't all that good? It's posts like this that have destroyed the crucible more than helping it. I have never had a problem dying from one particular weapon. Vex killing you? Get close and use a shotty, suros owning you? Use a scout rifle. Ice breaker boss at sniping? Flank the sniper with an epilogue. Stop complaining about a weapon being too op. Take it as a challenge. If you can't use skill and strategy to overcome it then the crucible isn't for you. Either way, happy gaming friend
