Are you camping outside stores?
Whats the best time to camp outside your retailer to be the first to get a copy of Destiny? How do you prepare yourself for the midnight release?

1 ReplyIf the game don't truly start till 3am I'll sit at the back of the line or just chill in the store the whole time and walk my friends out as they close up.

1 ReplyI got the Digital Guardian Edition for 89.99 =] I live on the east coast so I wouldn't be able to play until 3am even if I did go to the store and wait till midnight. I'd rather just pre-load starting on 9/7 and then be cozy at my house until 3am when I can start playin =]

Size up the crowd make some new friends get some PS Ids and then watch my back as I leave. Hopefully there will be some off duty cops in the parking lot to keep the peace hahah

1 ReplyI'll be at my local gamestop at midnight. I actually have plenty of leave days built up so I'll take some leave for tues, wed, and thur head back for a half day of work on Friday and enjoy the weekend. I did the midnight release for skyrim and when I showed up at 1115 pm the line was already a hundred or so deep. Ended up checking out at the register at 0118. So I'll take a hard nap on Monday after work, head up to chilis with the wife when I wake up, then hop on over to GameStop and grab my game and head back home for a nice week long session.

3 RepliesI usually show up around 9:30-10pm. The GameStop I frequent always gives out cool freebies at their midnight releases. Mostly lanyards, posters, bracelets etc. Leftover pre-order bonus items.

Well guys where I live first thing you say when you go to the midnight launch is: I need a weapon! Master chief status xD then all the nerds charge you to not let you be first in line!
