Farmable Deepsight Harmonizers
Okay so I have over 100 weapons in my inventory with deepsight activation available and we only get 6 a season. Call me crazy but that math is not working itself granted we can grind for the red borders but for someone who just came in at the end of a season because of life can only do their best to collect the weapons to later unlock the patterns with harmonizers. but 6 every few months means I get to get rid of one every few months and that’s too much. I would instead say let Xur sell them one a week so those of us that need them have a way to farm one a week at least.

No my idea of a weekly farm means you get one a week and that’s 5 weeks for one weapon a weapon you still have to play and get in the first place. Effectively preserving the “Safety net” ideal 👀 (seriously talks sense of time is 🚮 5 weeks for each pattern and yall complain) Just farm red borders…… great idea not sure why I don’t think of that in fact….. why do we even have harmonizers? 👀 if you need to refer to the first two questions above 👆🏻 you can come back to this one later

6 RepliesThey literally gave everyone a deepsight a day from each season. So, after a little over a week, you could solve this. This doesn't include if you actually played each activity to get red borders. Idk what you're complaining about unless it's from old seasons no longer in the game

5 RepliesEdited by Obi-Juan: 5/25/2024 12:00:54 AMThe whole point in deepsight harmonizers is you use them for that one weapon you just couldn't get to drop red borders for for a long time or to finish that last 4/5 border you just could never get to drop. If you're asking for farmable hamonizers, you're missing the point of them. This is why it's a bad idea for them to even add deepsight harmonizers because people become greedy and want more of them. That's not how it's supposed to work.

1 ReplyDeepsight harmonizers are another way for Bungie promote the selling of Season passes. Nothing Bungie does is to help the players, it's only to milk their wallets as much as they can.

If I delete a weapon I’ve fully crafted do I get my deep sight harmonizer back? As soon as the algorithm realized which engrams or weapons I was trying to unlock they barely drop from the activities that are supposed to drop them. Thanks and good idea! 💠 -

8 RepliesI think something like “Legacy” Harmonizers may fix all the problems with this suggestion. Currently Deepsight Harmonizers are highly limited as they flat out remove any grind in the game, just save five copies of a weapon and you instantly have a god roll. This is very problematic for new content as it destroys its replayability. Instead, a vendor like Xur should offer “Legacy” Harmonizers, which can only be used on old seasonal weapons that have exited rotation at the end of their expansion year. This way, new content does not get instantly trivialized by people having access to tons of Harmonizers while old weapons that are much more difficult to acquire can be more easily acquired by players catching up.

5 RepliesIf they did, the grind would either need to be decently hard like complete a full raid or dungeon without leaving, or long like Xenology rn. They’re for back luck protection and not the primary way that you unlock Craftable options. You also need to account for that they can also be used for endgame weapons.

Making deepsight harmonizers earnable would be a quality improvement.

1 ReplyThis has been asked for so many times I'm under the influence bungie doesn't care one bit and it's another way of getting players to pay for the season for an extra currency that cannot be earned in game through bounties alsobto extend the amount of time you have to spend in game etc Would make sense to give xur deepsight harmonizer bounties that are repeatable on the weekend would deffo help clear out vault space

The harmonizes are just a safety net, not he primary way you obtain patterns.
