Pvp is dead

Numbers don't lie. I see some people blame sbmm. Wrong. Sbmm is non existent currently, cbmm is killing the game. It's funny too, why do you cbmm lovers, stay away from cbmm modes? The population in cbmm is so abysmal, gambit is more popular. Bungie, cbmm has killed pvp and Numbers support this claim. Who are these people that actually watch trials streamers? I find it hard to believe , I think some people view bot. Trials has to be the worst competitive mode in all of gaming. There's nothing to ensure tough competition, so most games are some nerd winning 5-0 , beating their chest like a king because they beating casuals with no experience. The fact that carries are possible makes trials the most non competitive mode in existence. Imagine scump doing a carry in championship match in cod🤣🤣🤣. Anyway, some yall on the forums should stfu, you're not relevant in trials or destiny, you should thank aztecross for keeping destiny relevant. The rest are no personality simpletons. Enjoy your dead -blam!- pvp. Merry Christmas

  • I would actually love to use some proper words i have for your brain but i'm not gonna risk being censored by this woke culture :) You my good sir have ZERO understanding of SBMM. Us good players don't hate it because we want to stomp noobs 24/7. Atleast 99 % of us good players. The one percent are cringe moms basement enjoyers who are unemployed and stack in quickplay. But the vast majority of good players including me just can't stand getting their time wasted by excessively long queue times in CASUAL QUICKPLAY, terrible connections with this ancient peer to peer system and tournament like sweatfiesta matchups every single match with strict SBMM in this dead game. Don't get me wrong on the last part here, i'm saying the top % of players should not constantly have to only be put into a bubble against top % players. That doesnt mean i should play against bottom % players. Ever. There needs to be a threshold. Top % players should never ever see bottom % players and the closer someone is to someone elses skill %, they should be more likely to matchup. But this strict SBMM system they have going now makes me as a top % player never even see 95 % of the playerbase. Thats not fun, nor does it work with this dead player population. Stomping noobs isnt fun at all either. When i get to play against some low skilled players in CBMM playlists here and there, i get bored instantly and even quit matches because they cant fight back. So i clearly dont want to play against bots who cant shoot back. BUT i want fun, diverse player matchups against a mix of skill. Because running meta against sweatlords 24/7 aint it. So putting top % players against a mix of top 40 % players would be a good start. Bigger player pool to choose from and no stomps because everyone in the top 40 % should be remotely competent. A healthy SBMM system would be fine for me. But this game has a dead player pop as you mentioned in your well infomed posting above. Dead player pop and SBMM are not possible to combine. You literally contradict yourself. SBMM needs a healthy player pool to choose players from to remotely work. A dead pvp game like D2 would need pure CBMM to function. With SBMM, i have laggy, teleporting players from China in my lobbies, my queue times are abysmal and i have zero enjoyment as a pvp player because i can never use fun loadouts. I have to run meta 24/7 and sweat my ### off. Why do you think noobs who play pvp here and there should be catered to and THEY should be able to enjoy pvp more than a regular pvp player? Wrong audience to cater to. That would be the same nonsense as if Bungie catered pve to someone like me who doesnt really want to put a lot of time into pve. Nonsense.
