Reprised Undying Weapon Drop Rate needs a big buff.
8 Hours of farming Coil & Lair and had a total of one undying weapon. One. This has to improve.
I almost reset Riven rank twice and have unlocked 2 of 4 undying weapons, this has to be the lowest drop rate to date.

You can decode the random engram in front of those weapons, and it will give you any of those weapons. I've done this, and before resetting with riven I had: full set of armor for 2 characters; all but 1 piece for the 3rd character; had all the weapons unlocked; and plenty of red borders. Game smarter, not harder guardian. Good luck. Edit - for those that still doubt, just go ask whatever content creator you follow/listen to about this. I get it, yall will believe them instead of just a random on the boards. Which is cool.

I mostly do Coil over Lair. I'm guessing that harder content has an RNG that's a tad higher. I try not to quit even if the team is dying a lot during First Boss.

1 ReplyMaybe give us one guaranteed for completing the Coil pinnacle challenge or something. Who knows, maybe they’ll be the extra loot drops for the Exotic mission later this season

12 RepliesIf you focus wish engrams at Riven, they seem to have a 12% deepsight drop rate. It's still pretty low given the cost. I cashed in 32 engrams and got 2 deepsight

I've been picking the armor chests in the coil and I always get an undying with it.

Perhaps you can only get one each week. If you only have two… then I would focus those two and get the red borders unlocked. Since it will only drop those two.

Get vex kills with the one you have to unlock focusing and then focus them instead.

Yes and also you should be able to focus the gun you want each week and not just the ffing emblem. Stupid game design decisions!!!

2 resets and 2 weapons too,both weapons came from the lair not coil.

I have crafted three of the four. Most of my initial drops came from Rivens Lair. Then focused from there.

Bungie realized that in lower player engagement hours. So they "fixed that" in luke smiths wise words. They turned the rng wheel all the way up again to min max our valuable time spent in game. Wooo the investors will be so happy, im sure...

Got all four from Riven's Lair, drop rate is indeed abysmal but since Riven's lair completions are usually pretty quick...
