I think they just need to focus on fixing the servers or stopping the attacks.
If they do anything it will be extending the season a week due to issues making it difficult to play and at times unplayable for some.

This game has been unplayable for me two weekends in a row. Lots of hardcore players are discounting funny gun weekend because they could take advantage of it. It was absolutely terrible for everyone else.
