Cross save didn't work
I tried taking characters from my xbox one to the playstation 5 it did not connect them correctly. I'm completely confused with how everything's supposed to work because the app says that it's working but it's obviously not it still shows the single character from my playstation 5 and the 3 characters I had on the xbox are not showing at all despite the app saying that they are connected.

This has been an issue for a week and a half you aren't the only one having this problem. But Bungie is aware of this and is currently fixing this issue but the only thing is they don't know when it'll be resolved.

If after activating Cross Save you didn't see your Xbox characters on both accounts when signing into the game, that means you either signed into a different account on your console than what you linked to your setup, or the account was recently used in another Cross Save and is in a cooldown. If you saw your PS character on both accounts, that would mean you mistakenly set up the Cross Save with the wrong characters selected. In that case you would have to disable Cross Save, wait the 90-day cooldown, then activate again with the correct characters selected. Since you've already disabled Cross Save, the only thing you can do now is wait the 90-day cooldown before you can try again.
