Stop trying to make us go insane
Bungie why is The Corrupted a strike? You guys literally have a mental health kit but yet you not only made, but keep bringing back this idiotic strike for Nightfall. FREAKING STOP ALREADY. THIS STRIKE LITERALLY MAKES ME AND MY ENTIRE FIRETEAM WANT TO SLAM OUR HEADS INTO A WALL. Whichever idiotic dev thought this strike was a good idea should be fire on the spot because it’s literally designed to inflict pain on the player base
Edit cause of the trolls: I’m not talking about Adept mode, I’m talking about the higher levels. I’ve been grinding way too much for months and apparently that’s still not enough. For the people in the comments, I can’t spend every waking moment on this game grinding like you guys. I have a life that requires me to do stuff. I want to just do a chill NF on Legend mode with some friends and that’s impossible even when they’re both on max power and I’m at recommended. If to do this strike you need to grind the game for god-tier loot, that shouldn’t be how it is. None of the other strikes are like that

It combines ALL the bad habits of content design that Bungie had picked up along the way until Fall of 2018 when it dropped with Forsaken: [i]Forcing you to fight in boxes and open platforms where you can fall or be knocked off to your death, limited or no cover, Unavoidable damage, Boss stomp mechanics that can OHK you[/i]. As a regular strike its annoying, but tolerable. 2. Because of all these obnoxious design quirks, the strike scales REALLY poorly into Nightfalls. It becomes really punishing, the ways of dying became REALLY unfair (Bungie has had to really soften them quite a bit to make the strike playable, and stop people from automatically quitting)...and the mechanics make trying to play it with anyone who is unfamiliar with how its plays as a nightfall? Sheer torture. I refuse to play the Nightfall version. NOTHING this game has to offer is worth being put through that headache. Nothing.

I ran this Nightfall twice on Hero level last night. Run #1: I was the top player with the most kills. Run #2: Some gamer in my team of randoms managed to sprint far ahead of myself and the other player. Before I know it the Nightfall has ended and I never saw the boss. Well, cool.

I mean you’re really just showing that you’re simply under skilled for the strike on higher difficulties. It’s not a hard strike.

It's obvious your team is extremely inexperienced at tackling this strike. Maybe do a few practice runs on adept or even select the planetary version. Then increase the difficulty. Your teammates that are 1590 or so should be able solo the strike at legend level with relative ease.

3 RepliesOne of my favorite strikes. Sedia’s Durance modifier could be changed a bit to reduce knockback damage and distance, other than that the GM is fun.

The Corrupted is one of my favorite strikes. I think it's cool how We have to chase after the Techeun and safe her at the end. Are you having hard time passing the ball to your teammate?

Uh... maybe relax, bro? I hate this strike too. However, it's not that hard, nor is it super boring and repetitive like some. I've done it 4 or 5 times on GM difficulty this week, it requires some planning and teamwork, which I LIKE. Better than mindless hallway #243....

I don't like this strike either. It's annoying to go through and other players seemingly never pass the ball. Not to mention everyone constantly falls off of the map during the final boss. However you need to chill out. It's just a strike at the end of the day. If you don't like it then wait a week for the strike to rotate out and go do something else.

I think it's fine, certainly one of the harder ones. I got 1 GM clear on it, and honestly don't wanna do it again lol You're not gonna like every strike. Prolly just a good idea to take a week off when the ones you don't like pop up.

3 RepliesOnly real issue with this strike is the range of the boss boop. She can launch you off that final platform from anywhere. It’s a bit annoying, especially if you are in the air when she boops. Other than that, the strike is not bad at all.
