Fusion rifles destroying pvp
Do any legit pvp players see issues with these weapons? I'm just curious how the community feels? I'm sure fusion rifles abusers love being able to hang with more talented players but isn't trials and pvp about gun skill? Why don't we just move fusions to heavy weapons? Why are we allowing people to be one taped in the shoulder with little aim or skill involved. I apologize if this hurts anybodies feeling but this game would be so freaking fun without fusion rifles. Just a thought. Maybe stop catering to bad players and start rewarding players who have a 2 plus kd without having to use crutch weapons.

7 RepliesThey are fine. if fusions were removed, they would just move to their next favorite weapon and beat you with that one. Like jotunn, bastion, abalest, sniper, shotty, or whatever..... PvP is all about adapting. If you hear someone start to charge up, maybe hide?

Lack of new maps and larger maps is. Fusions aren’t the problem and neither is the other special weapons. We need Combined Arms back for casual play and a revamp for Comp and Trials for the more hardcore PVP players.

3 RepliesThe things that have "broken" PvP IMO 1. Lobby Skill & Individual Player Balance 2. Crossplay - Will the lag please be addressed = no damage registration, teleporting etc 3. Builds that allow for ability spam/exploit from PvE transferred to PvP 4. Map Size and Cover Available - see above 5. Respawn Timers Increased 6. "Tools" that are untraceable - just found out that they are available en masse at my local electronics store! Everything else IMO, can be dealt with individually and collectively as players. The uneven playing field is the result of Bungie's implementation and moving forward to S16. Not disrespecting better players, and empathising with lesser players. "Git Gud", "....don't post after a loss" etc. Guardians, seriously stop being trolls and HELP others. If you cannot, STFU and FO. Thank you.

I’m pretty average, I don’t see a problem with them. A good player can make them work, annoying but not broken or overpowered.

Most legit (read: competitive) players don't see much issue with them, outside of a very, extremely select few disliking the Rapid Fires. They're pretty linear in terms of how they play, easily read, and decently easy to either outrange or beat the charge. In 3s, they're especially easy to beat, since there isn't that chaos of 6 extra players running around.

9 RepliesI just don’t understand why people cried nerf shotgun when fusion rifle range ohko is much further than shotguns pre nerf. I use fusion rifles now but I would rather go back to the felwinter era.

1 ReplyDestiny 2 in no way, shape, or form is balanced or will be balanced. It would require same weapons to be used, same limitations on ammo, same super armor across all classes and subclasses. Just quit the match if you feel the fusions you're facing are stupid. It's just a game who cares.

3 RepliesPersonal I hate them and hate main ingredient but there is no point in complaining. Plus there is no reason to go to a toxic place "fusion abusers". People can whatever they want end of the day it's a game and if they are having fun using them then leave them to it. What you want to do is ask yourself how could I avoid getting killed by fusions more often. I had to do it and other had to aswell so maybe you need to find a way to play against them in your own way.

I think the main ingredient here is your telesto is being affected by us users. You need to adapt and be a bit more merciless. Otherwise your bastion of hope may start to crumble. You may have to embrace your membership of giants to overcome this, in order to be a dream breaker. So don’t come on here with those hollow words. Bring a more loaded question and be the emperor’s envy.
