Crucible has 0 retention
Your crucible has 0 retention. It's a turn off for bad pvpers because serving as cannon fodder isn't fun. It is a turn off to some good pvpers because getting mercied a bunch sucks, carrying their team sucks, and the lack of a real challenge sucks. The only people who your crucible appeals to are pubstompers who think it is fun to stomp noobs into the ground. At this point barely anyone actually plays crucible for crucible. Usually it is for a bounty or weapon, not because they like the game mode

1 ReplyIt also seems to be a breeding ground for poor sportsmanship, and worse, sociopathic states of mind... which is the mental illness that causes someone to enjoy causing other people to suffer in some way. It was strange to see Bungie's post regarding mental illness in light of the fact that their pvp environment not only cultivates it, it rewards it.

4 RepliesCheck my 3 toons. Last June since I stepped foot in PvP. I remember a game where we got stomped sooooo hard (clan stack with full meta v 6 solo) the game didn't count it as a match towards the pinnacle.. it 94-2 or something crazy. The game assumed I was afk we got beat that hard 🤣 Shortly after that, I jus quit PvP flat. I don't care what they put in there, I will NEVER EVER play PvP again. The matchmaking is drunk 😅

2 RepliesStupid question time! Why does nobody seem to talk about the issues induced by Bungie's implementation of Crossplay? Y'all can say "Git gud!" all you want (toxic much?) but no amount of skill will save you from P2P crossplay-induced lag, movement disparity, and FPS disparity just to name a few. It's not noticeable every match for me on Xbox but it's way more often than not.

1 ReplyYeah they have to do something for low level players. I am pretty average so I don’t mind the sweat fest as it’ll make me better, but seeing 2-3 guys getting .20 KDA every match is just wrong.

Yeah, I've played a lot of pvp, got unbroken and flawless and still enjoyed it for several seasons after. Bit bored now: Same maps; same weapon strats being used everywhere; shooting through walls (not lag, I've literally shot someone whilst aiming a few inches into a wall, and it happens to me too)... etcetera. Not really played it much recently, whenever I do now it's for the social side. Sad. They'll keep promising change, I won't expect anything and neither shiukd anyone else.

2 RepliesI’ve looked at the light level you went into iron banner with and can only assume the difficulty lies within that. I think you were the lowest light. (didn’t check everyone) I’m sure this makes a difference. So maybe grinding it up a bit more will contribute to the end result.

I play pvp now and then (used to live in there - not anymore) and I really like it when, somehow, you get even teams both sides and the game goes the whole way with a 150 - 143 score. These are fun times, even if you lose. But those days are gone, I wish Bungie would put more effort into PvP.

No weapon or armor mods to boost anything, just basic weapons and armor and your abilities/super. At the end of the match instead of getting materials and rare engrams, the common tier loot has a chance to convert into legendary gear with perks based on your playstyle and results. (That might be a developer's nightmare, but still a cool thought).

6v6 is sweatier then trials. There aren’t any noobs in sight, except the ones on my team. Stop acting like only sweats are having a good time in crucible, because they are not and we all want proper team balancing.

I mean no one in this game plays any mode for the fun of it anymore. It's all bounties, speed runs for drop or those titles
