This is normal if all you play is one game. This is normal to feel that way about any game that is the only game you play.
It's normal to take breaks.
I've taken at least 5 breaks from destiny. Uninstalled, skipped seasons, months off. One time it was over a year off.
Guess what? My light level is still higher than 90% of the base because I decided to jump in this season. Will I play next season? Probably not. Will I play the one after that? I don't know. Will I play again after this season? Definitely.
Destiny has a thing it does. It does what destiny does. What does destiny do? It entertains.
There's nothing wrong with what destiny is doing. You just need to take a break and work on some different games. You'll appreciate those games more because they're fresh. You'll appreciate destiny when you come back to it because it does a lot of things better than other games.
Treat destiny more like a side chick and not a wife and you'll be happier with it as a result.

You do realise that “next season” will the release of Witch Queen Annual DLC (and any weapon crafting, void subclass changes etc) Is that something you’re likely to miss playing on release ?

Haha. Dude. My skins thick enough to deal with your crap. But I do feel you should be permanently banned from the forums to make sure your behavior does not have to be confronted by someone who is vulnerable. Given the community we have here I think you should be removed from the game altogether because I can't imagine the things you'd say to someone making mistakes in a game where mistakes are made.
