Can we sacrifice a small nerf to dawn blade…

        • Jesus warlocks came out of the woodwork to protect their dear overtuned top tree dawn lol. Like having a melee with near infinite range that tracks is okay. Imagine if top tree gun slinger's throwing knife could track like that and hunters got a double dodge with barely any cooldown without having to use up an exotic slot. Everyone would lose their collective minds. But back to the issue at hand, void warlock (and I'm thinking specifically nova warp). I like it. It's pretty dope in theory but just a little lacking. I tend to think middle tree of every subclass needs some work tbh. It doesn't feel like a whole ton of synergy was built into any of them. There are some strong things in specific situations (chaos and spectral in pvp, well and and big shield in PvE, nova warp, blade barrage, and burning maul in....pretty much nothing).

            I'm kind of tired of people pretending top tree solar isn't the best subclass in the game. I don't know that it should necessarily be nerfed, but stop pretending it isn't strong as -blam!-. Also three max intellect geomag users playing campy in ToO is degenerate as -blam!- and you should be ashamed of yourself if you think that isn't a problem. Sorry not sorry.

            • Why not just buff void class on warlock and just leave dawnblade alone? Shouldn’t we be wanting warlocks to pick void subclass out of desirable aspect rather then dawnblade got nerfed so now I ‘have’ to use this other class to compete. 🤷‍♂️ [spoiler]that goes for all subclasses on all caracters 😉 [/spoiler]

            • Not before they nerf the crap out of Revenant. I get solo Revenant often now in matches. When I say nerf it, I mean remove any sense of freezing PERIOD from all Stasis subclasses especially the Warlock and Hunter. The Titan is slow now so it is much easier to kill than a roaming Warlock in Stasis and an annoying unskilled solo supering Revenant Hunter.

            • Nah. I spent the last year of D1 and the first 2 years of D2 with a useless solar subclass with next to no redeeming attributes. Let this -blam!-er have its time to shine. Top tree dawn is by far my favourite subclass RN due mostly in part to Icarus Dash - it makes the warlock jump viable for anything above casual PvE. And I don’t wanna hear shit from anyone - Titan, Hunter, or Warlock - who hasn’t genuine tried using the Warlock traversal tools. The jump is slow as shit, leaves you exposed long enough to get you killed twice, and regularly gets caught in terrain while attempting to traverse the environment. If you get pushed off a ledge you basically slowly drift to your death with no way to fix the issue. Don’t even get me started on blink. It needs a complete rework as 90% of the time you die before the animation is even half way. Give my ass some I-frames, render me completely invisible, shrink the hit box, extend the range…shit I don’t know, just make it viable as it is a literal detriment for all content. I can’t think of a genuine time or situation where I have thrown it on and thought that it would make my life easier. Main point, don’t -blam!-ing touch Dawnblade until the mobility issues on the other subclasses are fixed.

                • I offer up a Celestial Fire nerf. I would prefer for Icarus Dash to no longer carry momentum(like before Shadowkeep) but that would affect the speed-running community, and they already had sword-skating removed. Celestial Fire just offers way too much. 105 total damage, infinite range, tracking, and AoE. Removing only one of these would be a good start and then we can see if more is needed, similar to how 120s were dealt with.

                • Terrible idea. Bottom tree void is left in y1. Nova warp over nerfed. Top tree is void decent. Daybreak bottom tree was over nerfed and doesn't have any synergey. All to make top tree better. Top tree storm nerded for no reason. Bottom tree storm sucks and chaos reach is a crutch.

It completely stupid to nerf a class that is only at the top because it is the only option just tonuse a class that isn't bad as is just has fallen off in comparison to others. Not everything is meant to be meta worthy and to rob tom to fix paul is just plain stupid. I hope this wasn't some weak alibi to not get downvoted by titans and hunters because they are the reason we get nerfed in the first place. If you want a buff just ask for one leave the dumb quid pro quo out. You're a warlock have some frickin dignity thats why everyone thinks we're weak quit getting bullied or putting up punk stuff like this ffs.

                    Lots of changes are needed. Vortex nova. Lance and a bigger blast radius. Plus make this class more viable in pvp like it was in D1. Blink. Needs to have the stretched hit box removed. (If I was evasive enough to get out of that spot then I shouldn't take damage from it) I can't shoot below where a hunter or titan jumped from and have them take damage so neither should we. It already has radar penalties, weapon ready penalties and a cool down penalty. It doesn't need to allow damage to be received from where you no longer are as well. Axions are way too slow and hunter dodge shouldn't nullify their tracking. Scatter grenade is broken and useless. Either fix it or swap it out for something else. Nova warp. Dark blinks travel distance is too short. Considering the nova warp has to be charged fully and released to secure a kill after you're within range of the enemy. Mini blast for nova warp is too small. Literally have to be shoulder to shoulder to get a kill with it. Sometimes the final explosion from nova warp does the character animation but emits no damage blast. Slova bomb. The shoot it to explode it thing is useless, just let us aim it and fire with shatter it so it goes where intended in which case make it travel much faster.

                    • Lol. Top tree doesnt need a buff. Neither does bottom. They are the 2 most powerfull tree's ingame right next to stasis lock. And middle tree only needs a huge PvE buff same as spectral.

                      • I would like to see the void trees get updated, as far as TTDB is concerned, I would say leave it alone for the most part, If anything reign in the range a bit so it ain't cross map all the time, tbh it should only have that sort of range while heat rises is active and you are in the air. That way ttdb still has access to the ranged melee but you have to be in the air, in exchange Icarus dash gets a bit more length while the buff is active, due to these benefits heat rises timer would be reduced by a fourth of its uptime. Void walker needs some serious help across the board, starting with the obvious problems, first there's blink, the fact that you can get shot out of it, MID TELEPORT, is a unfair, especially considering all the other penalties on top of it, it leaves you in a situation where you cannot take advantage of all the close range abilities this class has to offer, Next are the grenades, Literally the only good grenade on this class is the vortex nade, ive rarely ever seen anyone use anything aside from that when using that subclass, scatter grenades are useless for the most part and the axiom grenade only slightly better, not only that, the abilities are a bit lack luster and are in need of upgrades and or updates. Devour is good, however it needs something to give it some extra power, health regen is good but you should also get damage resistance to make it more tanky (there's an idea for an exotic), The Nova bomb for devour needs a bigger blast radius but needs to be smaller in the throw animation, or just not detonate on corners or walls that are right next to you. like i could be six inches away from the wall and the nova bomb could clip the damn wall and blow myself up. Top tree could also be made a bit better by slowly increasing in size as it travels, farther it travels the more damage it does, similar to death bringer only without the height requirements and better tracking so it doesn't -blam!- off to outer space if you aim is off. Nova warp can be useful in certain situation but it takes very specific builds to even make it work at times and again you need to get within shotgun range in order to make any of that shit work. I would like to see both top and bottom tree arc get buffs, little things like the arc souls from bottom tree only getting a damage buff (not getaway artists), In fact, Storm trance needs a serious buff in all honesty, even in base pve it has trouble keeping up with better add control options, Like stasis with bleak watchers. It can do fine in pvp because it has some of the better grenade offerings and great exotic choices, but compared to chaos reach there is no reason to play either top or bottom tree. I would gladly see ttdb and CR get nerfed if the other sub classes got some updates to be viable across the freaking board. Heck the most fun i have in pvp is when i play well with boots of the assembler and lumina, Let the slayers slay I'll just keep them alive and buffed. You can buff lumina and thorn while your at it so they are on equal footing with other hand cannons like ace or last word.

                        • How about we leave top tree Dawnblade alone and just buff the other subclass trees? If dawnblade does get nerfed, I hope they surprise us and make the changes pvp only. I enjoy using the mobility to explore/ play in pve
