Fix Champion Bugs

Bugged Champs that regen while stagger or chain barriers make lost sector farming annoying. Enough said. Edit: This post has been simplified so the "git gud" keyboard warriors can understand.

    For barriers you can use Dead Man's Tale or Izzy to break that barrier. Snipers with Genesis are good if you can time your shots correctly. Also with Dead Man's you can have an easier time dispatching them and you can conserve some ammo for your special/heavy weapons. For Overloads you can't go wrong with Bows or Divinity. Stasis also helps control these Champions.

  • Champions aren't hard....they're literally only hard on GM Ordeal and even then you can just nuke them sometimes...last season when I got my Conqueror title I was using Outbreak with anti barrier pulse and it literally was a solo instant break on barriers with a massive amount of damage... We have Dead Man's which is basically Outbreak but scout rifle pretty much....you can one tap barriers with it too....if you're struggling you're doing something very wrong...

                  I will say this every time I see “overloads waahhh wahhh” posts If you are having trouble against champions, YOU ARE TRASH AT THE GAME. They are incredibly easy to take care of solo, even in a GM NF. Learn how to play the game instead of crying about how bad YOU are. It’s not the games problem. It’s YOU

                    • I use div for overloads and Polaris lance for barriers because of its endless mag if you only get precision then it has a explosion every 5th shot and it has a 4 second burn over time to everything in a 4 meter radius of the explosion

                              Other than raid mechanics, champions are quite literally the only thing that is not an automatic clear in PvE with whatever loadout you happen to have. I like them the way they are. Removing health regen simply lets weak players and weak teams peck away at them.

                              • I just think the whole barrier/overload/unstoppable thing needs to go, have the same enemy behaviour but use actual mechanics to kill them rather than mods.

                                  • Remove the Chumps. All it is is a glorified mandatory loadout mechanic. And there seem to be only two boss and miniboss mechanics dominating all the others : boss stompers and Chumps. Every new bit of PvE seems to default to one or the other. Usually both. Bet VoG has Chumps as the very same stale feature.
