Load times are RIDICULOUS!!
I sure hope that the new consoles coming out resolve the load time issues we are having. Im not a game designer or developer but its ridiculous how long it takes to go from orbit to anywhere.
Am I the only one having this issue? I pay a lot for the fastest connection and hardware to try and make it better but it doesnt help.
Bungie please help!!!

3 RepliesWhy is this even a discussion anymore!? New consoles will be out in 5 days. There are videos out already with XBSX Destiny load time at around 30 seconds. These consoles are 7 years old! Try using a seven-year-old phone with a new game. it's time to upgrade!

got a m.2 on my pc, the new console will be around 30-40% faster then mine so expect fast load times.

In my ps4 days I added a ssd to my ps4 pro and it improved a lot. Well worth it.

5 RepliesI have a xbox one. The original black brick and my load times are just fine. Stay out of menus and inspecting stuff. Plus... I'm suprised there's no PC elitists here. Edit: found one. Awww so close to being a flawless discussion

Launch edition PS4 user here with good, but not stellar, internet (wired connection). It takes me, on average, three minutes to go from selecting the game in the menu to landing on the tower. I rarely disconnect from Crucible. Honestly I don’t know why it’s like this, but I think servers are very slow or fast regionally. [spoiler]Sorry, all out of salt.[/spoiler]

The specs of the Xbox One X is already good. 12 GB ram, eight 2.3ghz cores, 326gb/s memory bandwidth, etc. These specs are MORE than enough to load things fast, hense every game I own being fast as can be loading things. Destiny has not only the worst load times, but by far. I have like 200 games, plus Xbox Gamepass/Ea Access. Destiny is the only game that sucks like this with loading cause of the tools and engine they use is old, crappy, and loads forever even when they are trying to work on the game. What the hell are the new consoles gonna do is specs are already enough with my Xbox One X?

3 RepliesI kno and I'm on a ssd drive too 500 gig and only destiny is installed I always load in black screen I'm guessing waiting on all the fireteam members to load. But the weapons screen is super slow but if I'm by myself on a planet quick travel is super fast like 3 to 4 secs n I'm spawned

3 RepliesYou probably have an older console. I have a 1X and I usually load 30 seconds ahead of other players. The new consoles will absolutely address this issue.
