This event was only a time filler. There will always be a "bug" in any event and in this one we just so happen to have 2 that were kind of important to some players. I'm just using it for the bright dust and cores while making it a challenge for myself to see how far I can get running it with randoms.
Knowing we will have to start over for the umpteenth time leveling up with the sunsetting? it doesn't matter what happens because there isn't anything worth acquiring that you will be able to use in BL. The ship, sparrow, and even the ghost are a dime a dozen in this game that there is no value at all in acquiring them other than completing the triumphs.
Take it for what it actually is, throw away content.

The weapons are both 1360 cap. So you are wrong bud.

As far as I know, all the weapons we have now other than Exotics will be left behind when BL releases so the cap means nothing to me at all.

For me, there is nothing worth it but for you may be so. We are allowed to have our own opinion so neither is right or wrong because there will be a hell of a lot of different opinions on what works for whoever. Besides that, I was looking at the overall that is going to be capped.

Lol he’s right. Are 450s even competitive? Truth is it’s lazy on their end to use the same rewards. You can pull one out of collections if they were buffed.

It’s also easier to level up all 3 characters using weapons that are part of the season. But you know that too. Stating the obvious doesn’t mean ones bothered or enthusiastic. 450s are the worst AR archetype and using the same rewards from the past two years is completely lazy.

You have to take into account that Beyond light was delayed and this event should have happened after its release. The reason the rewards were the same probably had something to do with it. Also just because 450s aren't good now, doesn't mean that with a patch they could be. I would hazard a guess that 600s are probably gonna catch a nerf soon so you never know.

It makes sense for a new light to grind it but the rolls from collections are solid and are 1360. You really think it would of been something better? I don’t and it falls in line with what they’ve done all year. So yeah collections yield a great roll on two useless weapons that we can hope get buffed. Good stuff,

No need to get upset over 450 ARs, they’re in a awful place atm and that the curated rolls from collections are better than any random roll available. With that said I think the last mystery prize might be worth the grind if it’s what I think it is. I believe it’s a way to transform planet mats that are being vaulted into ascended shards.

Correct, it's filler content no more no less. Still it's ideal if you wanna farm and test yourself a bit. Also ideal for any new lights. Personally I've put D2 down for a bit and tried something else. Currently moving between Gen Zero and SC2

I don't play anywhere near as much as I use to. Mainly because most of the content in this game is only a filler. IMO this company has lost way too much talent that this game will never really go anywhere with the current Bungie. So I have no problem spending my time playing other games and pop on this one once in a while.
