So wheres the list of stuff your adding to the game that's actually new. Not recycled content that we could literally boot up d1 and play.
Wheres the list of new crucible maps?
Wheres the list of new crucible game modes?
Wheres the list of new weapons and armor abilities etc that were suppose to be getting come beyond light?
And dont give me that if we tell you now it wont be a surprise later b.s we all know your "surprises" have been nothing more than let downs and half promises you made years ago.
Edit: "Just dont pre order if you dont like it then dont get it" your right I'm not going to pre order but that still doesnt change the fact that they should give a list of what we should expect.
"Its 3 months away" or "they cant gove out everything or else that'll spoil the whole dlc"
So its 3 months away? doesnt stop them from giving out hype trailers and asking for preorders.
I'm not asking for everything about the dlc story and endgame spoiler. I'm asking how many crucible maps and game modes are we to expect getting
Are we going to get any new gambit maps? How is gambit going to work with or without the prime armor? How many story missions should we expect? How much new gear are we getting compared to the amount of old gear leaving for good or being reused?
We deserve transparency not maybes and "leaks" that have no standing.

2 RepliesJust dont pre order or buy until you get the info? Problem solved.
-
2 Repliesif they reveal everything there is nothing to look forward for.
-
4 RepliesIt’s 3 months away. They have Never shown us a majority of content 3 months in advance.
-
3 RepliesI could be wrong but it sounds like you're wanting a 1 to 1 remove add of content. They are removing all the stuff no one played much and also because game is getting big. I wouldn't expect a 1to 1 or even 1 to .5.
-
3 RepliesHere's a tip... making a new post every week complaining about literally anything and everything they might say or not say males you a whiny little... person. Feedback and valid complaints are one thing. What you are doing is throwing a tantrum.
-
3 RepliesWait.... So you're expecting a full list of all the content in tbe next expansion 3 months before it comes out? Being a little pedantic aren't we?
-
*You're *we're
-
44 RepliesBut Mommmm! I wanna know what I'm getting for Christmas nowwwww! ....... that's what you sound like.
-
1 ReplyAgreed. Most of the time people wanna know exactly for what they spent their money. Since Bungie is not very trustworthy i'd like to know too.
-
And dont give me that if we tell you now it wont be a surprise later b.s we all know your "surprises" have been nothing more than let downs and half promises you made years ago.
I don't think it's practical for them to give a fully detailed list of what we are getting in an expansion 2.5 months from now, it would be nice to get some insight between now and then, but getting the complete roadmap ahead of time is impractical. Remember in Season of Dawn where the roadmap laid out absolutely everything we would get, only to have players upset there wasn't more? Also remember in Season of Arrivals when the Prophecy dungeon was a complete surprise and was received well by the community? Having some surprises can be a positive.

Yo chill lmao. It's 2 months away still. You aren't being forced to pre-order the game. If the reviews don't suit you, don't buy it.
-
13 RepliesLiterally don't care about any of the strikes we're "losing" Or any of it really.
-
As a pvp only player having 3 new classes is more content that I'll actually use than we've gotten in the last 2 years.

7 RepliesI, for one, wish they would dismantle PvP and work on creating a better game. There is too much PvP getting in the way of something that could have been absolutely great. Instead, they constantly focus on balancing, nerf good things because players cry that its OP in the crucible, and pretending to be some kind of E-Sport. They SHOULD be working on creating more missions and activities with the diversity and complexity of events like The Whisper, Zero Hour, or any of the Dungeons. Players need more missions that not only challenge their combat skills but also their problem solving, push their teamwork to knew heights, and provide the players with the opportunity to experience the lore they worked so hard brainstorming a writing out rather than including in their game. But lets keep worrying about PvP. That will make Destiny a better game.....>_>
. Not recycled content that we could
We'll get that closer to the release date of Beyond Light. Probably starting about mid-October, I'd bet.
Wheres the list of new crucible maps? Wheres the list of new crucible game modes?
Honestly? There may not be any, unfortunately. Most of the people where leaders of the PVP side of the game, and were champions for a PvP focus left Bungie about a year ago. That was a part of the "Unification of Vision" for the game. Those individuals were largely responsible for the bad turn that the franchise took in going from Destiny 1 to vanilla Destiny 2....and they probably felt their ideas for the game had no place in the direction Smith (and others) wanted to go. Also, Bungie can't monetize (make money from) PvP content. Fortnite and Titanfall 2 have created the consumer expectation that PvP content will be given away for free....and money will be made from selling cosmetics. The problem is that Destiny is also a loot game...and many PVE players feel that those cosmetics are loot and should be in the game. So they resent anything that is put into Eververse to be sold. So Bungie is stuck. They can't sell PvP content....and there is a limit to what cosmetics can be sold to support it without alienating the much larger PVE player base. TLDR: I wouldn't expect much of anything new for PVP right now, otherwise I think you're going to be setting yourself up to be disappointed.
Wheres the list of new weapons and armor abilities etc that were suppose to be getting come beyond light?
Again.....October. Bungie never reveals this stuff this far ahead of a content drop.
And dont give me that if we tell you now it wont be a surprise later b.s we all know your "surprises" have been nothing more than let downs and half promises you made years ago.
Can't. Because I've already given it to you, because that's Bungie's track record. They wait until the last few weeks before a major content drop to start building the hype, and drip-feeding us glmpses of whats to come. Lastly, if you're that disappointed with the game, why are you still here??

36 RepliesThis is so spot on. Only the blind wouldn’t be concerned with what little information has been provided regarding NEW content to replace what’s being removed.

Edited by Corrick II: 8/25/2020 12:52:00 PMI don’t want an itemized list of new gear with names and pictures, but considering the flimsy content drops we’ve been getting over the last couple of years it would be nice for players know ballpark how much new gear is coming. Of course Bungie will never do it because 1) they probably know it’s not enough to satisfy players and 2) they want to get as many players to buy it as they can get, but still. At this point I’d be happy with the usual long, rambling TWAB that simply addresses the issue and how they plan to keep up asset production. But they won’t do that either. Best to keep silent on the real issues and just ignore it until after launch day. Don’t want to scare off prospective buyers.
-
They showed you what is coming Nov 10. PVP gets nothing. 2 strikes. 1 raid. 1 new planet. Half the cosmodrome. They aren't going to give a list of specific weapons, mods, etc as they still need to market the game.
-
3 RepliesDon't worry guardians we'll be able to make ice cream in beyond light
-
2 RepliesEdited by Dark Brandon X: 8/24/2020 10:24:05 PMI'm being optimistic. They are taking that stuff out to rebuild it for next gen. They don't have Activision and their studios this time so they have to go at it alone. Between this and getting ready to go next gen with new content as well, I'm sure their hands are tied. I really believe this is D3 but done efficiently so I'm approaching this as a new game and am excited for what gets added in the future. If they turn out be lazy and not deliver, then I'm just going to leave the game altogether anyway. I see it as a win win.

Bits and pieces of Venus+Titan+Mars slapped together and covered in ice

shhhh time willl tell If they dont show by launch you can wait to decide your purchase after launch. :) For that think Bungie are greedy. As long as they get your money, they dont care when they get it. Right? As you willingly purchase it.

6 RepliesThey’ll reintroduce weapons that sucked, reintroduce some sunsetted weapons, give us 1 strike that’s new but lame and rest will be reskinned fallen. Stasis subclass will be nerfed into uselessness within a month or two and I fully believe after the hype and the slobbering excitement phase is over this will have been one of the worst DLCS they ever put out. I bet they will do another state of bungie and revert sunsetting on guns and armor and promise to get it right this time. Also expect the eververse to be jam packed with way more stuff than any of the vendors, activities or drops will give you. Such is the cycle of bungle and destiny. 3 steps back every time they do something cool.

1 ReplyTechnically Europa was originally planned for destiny 1 until the shift and tone changed and it got dropped along with the EDZ that became the first area after the farm in destiny 2 and the Cosmodrome is a reprise then a return that is a derogative term for something has not been relevant for a certain amount of time to say the Cosmodrome is still accessible in the first game, thusly both are not new it is an egregious marketing ploy to sell hype for marketers and retailers when it's costumers the fans are easily fooled by such marketing to say that the Cosmodrome will undergo the same cosmetics as the moon did for shadowkeep.
-
Most of the new stuff will be in Eververse.
-
2 RepliesOh just wait.....they're gonna release a fantastic trailer before launch, like they always do. All hyped up. Just to sucker us in..... And then we will get the actual season, and the forums will become another salt mine. Same shit, different expansion......move along, nothing to see here.
