Buff Hunter tether. seriously
Tether in pvp does NOT activate until the enemy in their super has already spammed their attacks and killed me. make tether activate faster and if a person is tagged with tether make it actually tether them instead of letting them get out of range before the tether sticks. also the dodge on hunters is too easy to hit. how is it that i can dodge behind cover but still get killed mid dodge. also, funny how titans and warlocks can melee twice before a hunter can. you know. . . the melee stealth class. has anyone at bungie ever played an RPG??? titans and warlocks can literally play an entire pvp match without firing their gun and still get 20+ kills. the animation needs to be faster or instant tether when it tags an enem

Dodge- Best PVP ability Middle tree arc super- Best PVP super Invis- is dominate, yes it's easy to see when you're looking in that direction. But If you're in a gun fight and invis is coming up in your peripherals it's pretty hard to catch. Even for my Eagle leveled eyesight. PVE- My least favorite class to play, but is kind of growing on me. Bottom tree void paired with Graviton Forfeit Helm (improved invisibility) for pinnacle activity's. Really comes in handy, when needing those revives or escaping certain death. 🙈

I do agree with the "tether is weak in PvP" part. The animation takes WAY too long, there is no damage resistance and even if you manage to tether 2 or more people, you're most likely dead before you hit the ground. Tether right now is just an incredible weak version of Nova Bomb. Tether in PvE is 100% fine. But in PvP it should get a buff. 1. Speed up the animation and time for tethers to grab enemies OR 2. maybe getting tethered should be insta dead? The same way Nova Bomb works. But it will most likely never happen. We're waiting for 6 years to be able to edit the appearance of our guardians. XD

The activation time of the tether is significally slower than in D1. Aswell as the reduced tracking on the arrow aswell.

While I do think tether needs some adjustment, most of the other things you're saying are way off.

Melee and grenade abilities might be sub-par, sure. But the neutral game is pretty good. And when is isn't good, the jump usually makes up for it in PvP. I want a tether buff for sure. I'd also like to see some more synergy within Hunter subclasses like this: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/254552158/0/0 And I'd also like golden gun combustion and keyhole to return to the subclass rather than tied to Nighthawk. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/256637029/0/0 But don't come in here and whine that Hunters are the weakest. Top tree tether super is pretty trash. Pretty much the only hunter buff I can get behind right now.

Your favorite class has been on top the entire time this game has been out, even during the time period when pre-nerf OEM and bottom tree Striker was a thing Arcsrider performed better on average, its that much better than anything else in the game. Nighstalker was also overperforming during year one, and still has a ridiculously good neutral game. I can’t imagine the amount of whining some of you Hunter mains would do if they ever actually rework Titans and Warlocks so that the other classes perform equally well.

9 RepliesAs a Hunter main, Hunter is amazing in PvP, however terher is a joke of a super unless it’s in PvE. But to me, that’s what it’s always been, Hunters needed a PvE super in The Taken King, and that’s what it got.
