overflow is the perfect catalyst for thunder lord
While feeding frenzy is not bad .. shooting 120 rounds from thunder lord with the rpm increase fits the style and design of the gun!
And it's damn fun to do imo!
What say you guys?
At least it would be a nice addition to the style and utility of the gun, unlike many of our useless and lackluster catalysts

If this ended up being too strong/too similar to 21% Delirium, you could always give it Polaris Lance's perk where headshots load bullets from the reserve to the magazine. It would still be good on adds, with a few extra shots here and there, but the stronger the enemy and the bigger its crit spot, the better the gun gets

Kills from lightning effect refills the magazine.

1 ReplyChain lightning on dealing damage to enemies would be cool. I know precision kills have a firefly effect and every so often lightning strikes your target, but if you add chain lightning like risk runner it would be the best add clear.

Or maybe even make it that any extra kills summon more lightning (like Outbreak Perfected, catalyst has siva nanite swarm on any enemy that dies from another enemies death be it by nanites or headshot)

No no no. Hip fire grip. Hip fire grip is the best perk in the game so that should be the catalyst.

2 RepliesThe perfect catalyst for Thunderlord would be one that doesn't overly increase it's potential, but just gives it a small boost. It's already extremely potent for what it's designed for. It doesn't need a substantial bonus. Probably something like Ace of Spades catalyst, a small radial increase to the electrical shocks.

2 RepliesYou weren't here back in D1 when there was a perk called Field scout that massively buffed magazine size, as well as ammo reserves. But they nerfed it for reasons I can't quite remember. However, if they were to bring that back as Thunderlords catalyst, that would be sick. Probably won't happen though.

1 ReplyI say no, because in the end it would kill 21% Delirium. It's introducing an inevitable nerf. Let's be real, they put that on the gun, people will start to complain. Bungie being Bungie would then nerf the overflow perk because it's easy and as a result destroy the only thing 21% has going for it.
