I can't find myself wanting to log into your games anymore. They are lifeless. Everybody is abusing the same shit in different playlists, and there is nothing new happening. You are recycling content like a dogged mutt for the past 3 years in complete honesty. I've paid for every expansion to release in the destiny franchise and I don't even like the game anymore. It's -blam!-ing dead, and not in the literal sense unfortunately. Stay here, stagnant, and fail; or actually create something great instead of this sad, sad IV drip of content called 'seasons' that you are trying. ~ someone who loved your games.
EDIT: all you cringe kids saying im just mad about the game or dont like it anymore or burned out are just plain ignorant. the game has too many flaws that have seen 0 attention over the years to do anything more than be a piece of shit rolling in the wind, and the 100+ upvotes just proves it. If I wasn't in the majority opinion of playerbase I would be hard downvoted. stay mad.

I think instead, Bungie wants this game to Die, By simply removing everything instead of Continuing the Game Franchise, They're removing All kinds of Planets and Content, Just heard today they're gonna make Dungeons "not Free" anymore, And they don't come in the Season Pass either, This game is literally becoming a Mobile Game Money Grabber. The Combat of Beyond Light is Just Plain Unbalanced, Especially for Free to Play, Or just Normal Players who pay for the Game. You're constantly getting Frozen and have to wait it out or Die, I'm starting to wonder if the Developers who worked on the PvP System ever even tried playing PvP themselves to see that it's literally just not even Fast Paced Combat anymore. Bungie is Blatantly Neglecting this game and it shows.

Several months later and the game actually is dying. lmao.. Bungie's sending out survey's to their hemorrhaging player base asking what they could do to improve the game. According to Forbes, participation in Trial's drops by nearly 50% every couple of weeks, and Season of the Worthy and Guardian Games are both huge flops. Bungie has lost touch with reality.

9 RepliesHey guys Cypher isn’t happy with the game it must be dying...
-
1 ReplyOh... it's Cypher making his monthly "This Game is Trash"/"Destiny is Dead" post. You've been here since launch and this is what? You're 30th post on this topic? Give it a rest already.

4 RepliesUnfortunately the game isn't dying, the numbers will go doing a few hundred here and there but with the bugs, mediocre fixes, and streamers still stroking the bungie ego. The game wont die. Only thing you can hope for is another company to take the destiny formula and make it better.

4 RepliesThe game is not dying one bit. People just have different views of what 'content' truly means. To some, like myself- grinding hours on hours on the same activity for a specific armor stat or weapon roll is how they enjoy the game; to others, simply getting the gun or armor piece, regardless of the roll, is good enough. Additionally, I have friends that will literally only do a raid once, for the sake of completing 'end game' content, and are 'done' with the game because there is nothing else to do. To each their own.

2 Repliesis the game dying or you simply don't like it anymore?
-
1 ReplyThen leave. We got your money.😉

It’s done!!! Stick a fork in it... And if there’s any little area that has a little life in it, Bungie will destroy it, too. Check the record book before getting upset.
-
Oh is it already this time of the year? -blam!- man it's not even Feburary yet.
-
play a game, get bored with the game, play another game better than a chicken little impression, 'the sky is falling, the.... wait... your game is dying, that's it !

Honestly expecting more than Quality of Life at this point outside of the seasonal updates isn’t something I’m hoping for. What i am hoping for though is a solid rollout for next gen as I’m honestly ready for newer, more powerful hardware as most should at this point.

4 RepliesIts not dying, it's just hit a lul point. We've already hit the bottom in D2's lifecycle. The game itself is still great, it just needs attention in many small spots. The machine just needs some oil, you could say. Not gas.
-
2 RepliesHard disagree. If you don't like it, that's fine. It's not dying though.
-
Take a break that's all and stopping with posting crap go and play something else
-
8 RepliesYou have one character over the soft cap, realistically you don’t seem to be their target audience if you are so casual. I don’t say that to minimize your value as a customer, but to point out your own barriers.
-
1 ReplyThe game isn’t dying. You just don’t play it as your only game anymore which is fine. It’s totally okay for a game to not have your attention for all eternity while it’s supported. It’s fine to play other games.
-
43 RepliesThe game is dying, yet the player count has remained relatively consistent. The only time it really tends to dip is towards the very end of a season.
-
6 RepliesWhat puts me off is having all your guardian level progress wiped each season.
-
It'll never die, but will basically end up wasting away for eternity on the streets with all of its potential dead
-
1 ReplyIf you don't like the seasons you don't have to purchase them. You've been here since the beginning? D1 had 2 dlcs and 2 expansions that is it. This time in Destiny 1 there was nothing new at all. In year 2 of Destiny 1 there was nothing new at all. These seasons give us some content to keep playing instead of shelving the game for nine months. Drip fed or not it's at least something to keep is logging in. If you liked waiting for months for new stuff you have the option, I'll keep dropping 10 dollars to keep playing every week.
-
3 RepliesI literally only get on to do the weekly bounties for bright dust, then I do the weekly lost sector bounty on the moon with random bounties for xp. After those weeklies are done, I don't play for the week.
-
Same really. I haven’t found much reason to keep playing a lot. 10 pinnacle levels per season is meh. I used to be all about reaching the highest level cap. Now I don’t because power is pretty pointless. Only 1 raid activity is relevant and strikes, crucible, and gambit are all to repetitive. No “fun factor” to get me to play with no goal
