Seems the quest is still bugged to some degree, but not the way others I see referencing. I completed the Max Temper Volundr Forge today and walked over to the crate to pick up the key. I picked up the key, saw it show up on the side of the screen as "Black Armory Key," (you know, like when you pick up an item) but when I went to find it to slot it into the box, it was not in my inventory. I looked everywhere that it could be, but it just did not make it to anywhere in my quests, consumables, nowhere. I saw it get picked up, then going into the menus it just didn't appear anywhere. Trying to do the forge again yielded an empty crate opening, with no key dropping. This Fishhook lock is the last one I need to advance Lock and Key for the gun, I even have the rare bounty ready to go. I am not sure how to proceed, as it seems that everyone else is having a different issue. Did I miss a tweet somewhere about how it was bugged again? Does the key go somewhere I haven't checked? Really stumped. Edit: consider this closed, after quitting the game, logging back in, I found it in the postmaster. The key slotted in fine and advanced the step.
