If a game is perfectly fair (per matchmakin) everybody will get an equal number of kills as they have deaths and wins would be determined by coinflips.
If there are people on the other team that you can kill more than they kill you it is because the match was not fair IE You were matched with someone who is not as good as you to follow your definition of fair for the sake of arguement.
EDIT that person obviously had those stats because he was better at the game than the people he fought.

That's not how shit works in any reality.

So you disagree with the statement that "the better player will almost always win"?

Edited by Lost Sols: 7/3/2019 12:09:21 AMThe premise that everyone are always better or worse and will always win/lose is stupid. Just like your comment that if everyone were exact equal skill/ability they'd all finish with equal kills and deaths is stupid. That's not how life works. It's sheer ignorance. By your reasoning, one team in every sport should finish every season undefeated, one team lose just one game, etc down the line. If you want to have a serious discussion, try posting a thought that isn't fantasy.

You do realize a team is made of many different people of various skills right? and if you want to bring real life sports into the equation you would also have to factor in roles/positions, teamwork, and coaching. If you want to go deeper you could even talk about home field advantage and "off days". There are a million different factors to consider when the outcome is dependent on a team, but K/D in games like destiny is largely dependent on your ability to 1v1 and create situations that allow you to 1v1. Do we even want to talk about ELO and how you can pretty much guess the outcome of every game by checking destiny tracker before the match starts?

Oh, so we're not playing on teams and people can't have "off days" or off games or be better on some maps than others or any other of a thousand -blam!-ing exact same things lol. Have a nice night, this conversation is stupid.

So you have a problem with the insignificant factors that have a minor role to play in matches on average. If that's the hill you want to die on be my guest. Glhf.
