Thoughts on imperials?
I assume it's only a matter of time until half the community is asking for imperials to be more easily accessed or claiming it's a time gate in disguise.
(I'm ok with their economy)
What are your thoughts?

You get just enough to do upgrades from doing the bounties and challenges, then if you pick certain upgrades can get them from other sources. It's obviously designed so you can't do it all straight away but don't see an issue with that.

1 Reply1. I think you're being an [i]agent provocateur. [/i] 2. No. Immperials are a LOOT issue....not a progression issue. So the vast majority of players are willing to grind for them...and the grind is meaningful and transparent. In fact it gives people are reason to grind strikes and Gambit for something other than milestones. The reason why cores are an issue is because cores interfere with progression....and break the relationship between player time investment and progression rate by effectively CAPPING how fast we can move thorugh the game....and preventing us from playing with the gear we wish to play with. That is what is pissing people off....and why the cores issue simply will not go away. No matter how many band-aids Bungie tries to slap on it.

I'm not really into Menagerie, so I couldnt care less. I'm ok getting what I get from Werners bounties and the Barge chests.

2 RepliesI was a bit annoyed at the prospect of having to wait until next week to get my next chalice upgrade, and then the random group I did menagerie with managed to unlock four triumphs in a single run, boosting me up just enough for the next upgrade. I was quite happy. so happy i nearly pooed myself / (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
