I am not so sure about that. I think the meta will be shaken up somewhat now that Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten are not going to be quite so dominant, but I still think that they will still be very strong in this new meta. I think the current shotgun meta, or rather I should say the Dust Rock Blues meta, will need some reigning in as unfortunately shotguns outstrip the competition in terms of lethality at short range and the Dust Rock outstrips all other shotguns. I am thinking that a range decrease is due on the Dust Rock Blues, just to give its competition an opportunity to shine. However I think the main problem with shotguns is down to the majority of Crucible maps typically favoring short ranged engagements, a legacy of the 4v4 Quickplay days. If there were just many maps that favored mid to long range engagements I think that shotguns would be less of an issue. But that is just supposition.
