Bungie, do NOT listen to all of these babies crying about Luna’s and N/F. You did great!
You came up with a great tweak. You may have to look at it again in the future, as I think precision frames for handcannons and their recoil pattern have no place in this game. They are too easy and that is Luna’s and NF’s problem. Great job with the nerf though. Follow through with it. The crucible will be a little bit more balanced now.

As 150RPM precision frame hand cannons that can kill with 2 crits and a body shot the Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten are still stronger than a lot of weapons and will still perform incredibly well but there will be more of a skill gap to get the most out of them. It will also make a certain person I know very angry because he was carried to Luna's Howl and pretty much paid for his Not Forgotten. Now I know a lot of folk will disagree with me and this reply will probably get a lot of rude and/or salty responses, but I for one do not care. At the end of the day Destiny 2 is just a game so I will not lose any sleep because folk want to act like immature children throwing a temper tantrum because their favourite toy has been taken away. Lets face it, the meta has become stale and even the likes of True Vanguard, who himself has Not Forgotten, quit playing because they were repeatedly going up against entire lobbies with nothing but Luna's/NF and Wardcliff Coil. By making these changes the meta opens up again with more weapons becoming viable options once more. I still expect pulse rifles to be strong and Service Revolver will probably become a lot more prevalent, but folk will not be punished for trying out new things by those who have a death grip on their Luna's.

1 ReplyFinally the most OP broken and easy to use guns with not recoil at all will be nerf. For the record i got my Lunas months ago as a solo player playing 100% solo matches but the Luna + NF meta is really boring to me and i leaved Destiny 2 for that reason about 02 months ago. I hope the Crucible return to be fun place again with more variety. In other hand the abuse of high skills players with Luna or NF to noobs or far less skills players that have no means to compete with those guns will stop.

So after this it will return to/become Arbelest, Jotuun, Telesto, Shotty, etc etc. It never ends, and neither does the crucibaby whining. I'm glad the left revelry nade spam in place. The tears are just precious at this point.

2 RepliesHave LH. Personally dont care about the nerf whatsoever as I barely ever use the gun anymore. Interested to see how it plays now though as I'm sure it's still a usable weapon. But on a more serious note lol the only "cry babies" and "try hards" I see here are the people toting the nerf like it was their personal attack against people who earned it. Like just lul. Have fun in the "new meta" let's see everyone's K/D go up just a measely 0.5 to show for the nerf.

2 RepliesYou have to give Bungie credit for having the balls to go through with it knowing the amount of backlash they would receive. It's a positive thing that they are prepared to make the tough decisions for the health of the game. I'm actually looking forward to trying the changes out, i never really clicked with the spammy nature of luna. I always fired it slower anyway when i used it, which meant in a head to head i would often come up short. I think that the changes will make them really consistent and maybe even have a D1 feel about them. Time will tell.

13 RepliesWe can do without the insults. Yes, those guns were so dominant in PvP that not even exottics could compete. yes, Not Forgotten's range made it a gun with no real weaknesses. And maybe they did need some tweaks. But let's try being nice.

4 RepliesI would've made it a 160 rpm but I'll have to see how the 150 feels. I just don't understand why they got rid of the extra precision damage I feel like this nerf vaguely affects pvp and only nerfs it in pve.
