I consistently see more of this community being more vulgar and degrading than rational. Open to conversation? Please look at these forums. They all follow some mob mentality built off ignorance and entitlement. 85% of the people don’t even acknowledge there own errors for the “fixes” Bungie made from feedback. Static rolls were made due to balancing, but no one want to talk about those forum post for random roll removal. Nodes for upgrading armor and weapons were removed to make the grind easier, but no one wants to talk about the hundreds of posts asking for weapons and armor to be maxed out (which would collapse the game economy) “because it was an unnecessary grind” The community is equally as guilty. What’s worse is that if you disagree with the mob mentality even slightly you get crucified. Posts get downvoted without even being read or people just refuse to acknowledge that maybe just maybe there is more than one way to look at the situation. Wanna know why cores are part of infusion? It’s not as simple as “Oh Bungie wants to extend play time” it’s more so because materials generally don’t have any other uses like they did in D1 and Bungie is trying to simulate the same level of grind in D2. Unfortunately they can’t materials especially via spider are too easy to attain. There’s also overall less to spend materials on so the only way to actually create any form of grind to prevent the community for being upset about the same damn thing they got angry at before is to use cores. At least until they find a better solution. Which is not the removal of them from infusion without consequence. If cores were removed they would have to quintuple the amount of materials just to simulate the same affect. Something the community would lose their crap about. Or they need to find more uses for materials so no one is hording 700 of each material they bought in 3 minutes from the spider. We as the community should help them figure that out but no instead we berate and degrade the company and it’s people as less than human.

I could literally do what ever kind of activity and earn motes of light to make my gear better. why did they change that? I agree the community is not perfect. the world is in chaos. when it rains we us an umbrella. their is no difference when it comes to toxicity. bungie has to shift through it and find the gems. there are people who get payed for it. we have come to a point that they need to do something significant towards the adjustment of Enhancement cores. it has been 6 months. now they are asking us to wait about another 6 months for a proper change. if the issue is the economy there is a thread listed where we can converse with bungie Devs to get a better understanding what kind of game they are making. CandyCrush....or Destiny.

Another 10 weeks not 6 months and it’s really hard to find these “gems” when the same community crap so those people who have rational thought. Hard to sift through the forums then the mass amount of toxic players downvote those post into the negatives so they are never even seen. These changes also come because of feedback that the louder and arguably more toxic community demands. Vanilla D2 is a prime example of community feedback. Those changes had nothing to do with ingenuity. It was the result of years of a crappy community. Bungie shouldn’t have listened so whole heartedly.

We have reputation boosts every once in a while. Why not add a boost to resource drops on certain days like warframe.....if they want an impactful way for gear then they need impactful ways to obtain those resources to progress. Instead we have candy crush with multiple time gates...

Sunsinger had multiple complaints my favorite one being “it made crucible unbalanced” which had its points but was stupid but hey when multiple posts reach 500 upvotes it’s “proper feedback”. Blade dancer let’s be honest with ourselves outside of crucible (and even in pve) it has little merit compared to arctrider (which has both ad clearing, DPS, and super countering) and spectral whose neutral game is both impressive and a super that is great in both pve and pvp Blade dancer falls short. Also gear gone was the result of both the community demanding balance and the shift to a new game. You say no one asked however just as many if not more complaints are about returning gear. Or reskinned gear. Emotes? Really? Shaders one demand was for being able to use multiple shaders. Which came in D2 However since there are hundreds of more shaders the same system would not have worked. We also could carry a very limited amount of shaders prior (10 I believe). And before you say they could use a similar system like they now do with emotes keep in mind that system wasn’t even created let alone thought of until the pre-forsaken update. That argument is irrelevant. Relics were removed because of complaint about them “Making certain exotics and weapon perks useless” that was the biggest. The community wanted easier progression, and less grind. Which resulted in the current system. We have little to no use for materials now. So we hoard them way to much. As a result without cores infusion is not only too simple but could collapse the game economy. Especially since spider provides virtually everything for cheap Finest matterweaves act as a boost but yes I think they could better if they stacked (so if you used twelve then you get twelve cores) they could drop more frequently there are multiple routes. But those have to be made before core removal not after.

Hey! I draw Line at EMOTES! 🧐...LOL I was really hurt they were not tagging along....I was under the impression it was a 10 year game and that your weapons/gear would carry your deepest satisfactions with the game along the way. I was wrong, apparently. AD's deceived me you could say. my issue with shaders comes from the fact we hardly have any Glow ones. they are in a better place I guess RPG wise. Didn't see those complaints back then about relics though. I can admit we do have some flaws as a community but I feel as if proper communications with Bungie can convey an overall better image of what the community/Devs is looking for in destiny. I totally agree; however, why are we not able to craft cores? let us burn through those materials. let us have more of a use for all them planetary materials we are all stacking up on for just infusion....all of them except boyuons...they literally do not have much use other than tinctures....and those you can grab randomly. But those have to be made before core removal not after.[/quote] there are definitely more options bungie can try but instead they want enhancement cores to now compete with mods resource wise. that feels more like a punishment than a solution especially when you see all these other materials going to waste. the community is so fed up because of the lack of respect bungie has shown towards the issue. at this point everyone is just asking for them removed since they will hardly come up with a proper fix.
