There is a huge lack of good looking y2 armor and there’s plenty of Y1 stuff that looks good. I imagine updating armor is easier than making new stuff.

Yeah...please.

Bumping this, BRING BACK PARADE ARMOR FOR -blam!- SAKE, IT'S NOT -blam-ING HARD, THE PARADE ARMOUR SHOULD BE A REWARD FOR COMPLETING RED WAR.

2 RepliesAgreed. Also, bring back random rolls for all gear, including Rares. Some of my best times on D1 was running into Crucible with a beautiful god roll Blue weapon and killing Thorn users. ;P Honestly, they should create an upgrade path for all gear, from Common to Legendary, so you can take your favourite Common, Uncommon, Rare armor and weapons (Y1 or otherwise), and use some Masterwork cores to turn them into Legendaries/update them to current year stats. #NoGearLeftBehind

2 RepliesI'm sure they'll get more introduced as re-skinned variants with random letters and numbers tagged on with each new paid for update just like the ones that came with black armory.
-
7 RepliesThe reason is because if Y1 armor can be random rolled, you can just buy it from Planetary vendors over and over again until you get the rolls you want. It's also why you can't purchase Y2 armor from your Collections tab. Bungie is not about to do that, no sir. Players wanted things to chase after. Wish granted.

They need to drop the rest of the catalysts

AGREED BUMP

Watch, they will most likely add them but behind paid content such as in the annual pass at some point or behind the next dlc...talk about business overkill, Stop making bungie your bitch ANTIVISION. 😡

4 RepliesYES EXACTLY! Why is this so freaking hard to do??? What is the point of "The Collections" tab if I cant take Y2 items from there because they are random rolls and Y1 cant re-roll? So its pointless to have! Just plain stupid if you ask me.. Its like they don't think things through at all!! How about adding a Legacy Collections tab that allows us to grab armor from D1 that we unlocked? And allow us to re-roll all armor at our Vanguard!

3 RepliesEdited by GrundleBeans: 1/4/2019 12:13:25 AMOn one hand, yeah, you get randomness from older weapons/armor and they'd be more viable alongside newer ones. On the other, you can't get a lot of the year 1 weapons/armor from any activity or vendor anymore AND because of how Collections work, you'd never be able to pull out a duplicate of ANY weapon/armor from any part of the game ever again. They really should just do what lots of MMOs do and give us actual modding abilities to all weapons/armor. That way we can pull out anything we want from Collections because everything would have static base perks/stats, and then we could apply the mods of our choosing (and more than just 1 mod per item, but different categories of mods). We could still have random drops be a thing, but they'd be in the form of mods being already applied, which you could keep on the item or swap for what you want. OR let us pay Banshee to random roll anything and everything.

If they add random rolls to collections, so people can’t just keep pulling stuff out for the rolls they want, they could have either a rare drop consumable or one you can buy from Xur and you can use that to pull an item of your choice from collections and that will have random rolls. Still have the option to grab the base original from collections for current costs or a random roll using the consumable. Maybe keep it to year one gear only.

5 RepliesNo, stop asking for old content to be brought back into the game. D2 gear already suck why would we have them waste time bringing even worse gear back from year 1 of d2 when they could just make better gear instead.
