Auto Rifles In Gambit Suck
Dude 450,720,600 autos are straight trash dam near takes awhole clip to kill a regular enemy hell maybe a lvl 1 or 3 to be exact. How am i gonna get these multi/regular kills if every auto in the game trash in gambit?

Now it may not be the most optimal thing, but it’s better than most autos at the moment. If you have it, I recommend it

Edited by SpawnPro57: 12/18/2018 8:56:25 PMI used Kibou AR3. It has dragonfly, missfit with rampage and backup mag giving me 60 rounds, also horror story. It’s a grind but well worth it. love my Breakneck. It wrecks mobs so quickly.

I actually dug my sweet business out of a dumpster behind the tower ramen shop for this quest and it does...surprisingly well. Once it spins up and hits its max fire rate its range and accuracy are solid and can be swept between enemies, with a high enough ammo count to burn through 4 or 5 enemies right quick ... Still wouldn’t reccomend it for anything other than finishing this quest though, thats about all its good for

From what I've heard, most exotics and the Horror Story work well. Personally i used Tigerspite but swapped to Hazard of the Cast. Even without a mod it was fairly easy, you just need to learn which targets have the lowest health and to just hit the crit.

Autos are pretty bad in Gambit but no where near as bad as you make them out to be, my Tigerspite with Outlaw/Kill Clip completed all the Auto rifle steps in 9 gambit matches. You REALLY need to land your crit shots for them to be a viable weapon

Every single time I see a person say they are alright, it usually falls under these 2 categories: Is a 450 rpm auto. Or Has rampage/kill clip. That singular archetype doesn't speak for the majority which pretty much suck at everything else. Rampage and kill clip can make anything feel good. Handcannons are just WAY too efficient for auto rifles to be ok right now because they very quickly annihilate trash mobs and even tankier ads with ease. Autos need more power and more bullets. If they can't ever out dps handcannons, at least give em some more bullets. Also more stability for the crappier ones, like misfit. In my opinion besides that though, I actually think the 600 rpm autos are the best all around autos. They do similar damage to the 450s with a faster fire rate, bigger mag, and less dependent on precision shots. But since there really aren't any good year 2 ones...most people probably don't really try it out. If you've got it, get out that duty bound. It feels so much better than any 450 rpm auto for pve.

3 RepliesI see you have misfit equipped... that’s your issue. Try the Tigerspite with Rampage. Warning: a Tigerspite with Rampage may feel better than the Breakneck you earn with it.

1 ReplyAuto Rifles are bottom of the food chain in Destiny, They get outgunned by SMGs, Sidearms, Shotguns obviously, Handcannons & even Fusions they basically have no competitive Range and Lack Precision, dats why it takes a whole clip to kill anything, if they were Removed from the game no1 would even notice

My Tigerspite has outlaw and kill clip and it does well. My Horror Story has Rampage. I used those for the whole quest. Normal Autos without those perks are straight poop.
