That's my opinion. The recent 'reveal'undermines everything and quite frankly its disgusting how they treat characters. It was honestly click bait, shock value however you want to phase it. Plain and simple and it undermines all of Forsaken's 'Plot' its so obvious they wanted to focus on the 'Dreaming City' and everything else that was rushed and done for 'oh look were edgy and hip with the kids.' Or 'look we can kill someone for monetary gain.' Before you go off on a fan boy/girl tangent. Let me put it into perspective. Your mum is been shot in the face and broadcast to people to sell death....Hmmm same thing.

26 RepliesEdited by Shockwave 989: 11/29/2018 10:23:08 PMWell if you actually dived into events, you’d realise two things. 1. Uldren’s life was centred around his sister, pathetically so. 2. Uldren displayed the traits the Speaker described as being factors in a Guardian being ‘chosen’ Plus Uldren was a little wasted, and with his resurrection (though technically he is no longer Uldren) it will cause every character to question what it means to be ‘chosen’. Now, I’m going to explain something quickly because it undermines your whole point, and it disgusts me that you seem to have no grasp on such a fundamental part of the universe. When a Guardian is revived for the first time, they retain no memories of their previous life.

Edited by Mister Wrecked: 11/30/2018 2:11:14 PMSo you're saying that a AAA design house made a video game primarily to turn a profit?! Mind blown.
#sarcasm
Cayde-6? More like Cayde-6-feet-under!

15 RepliesCaydes dead, he was a fictional character in a teen rated game, get over it.

To be 100% fair, one could've predicted Uldren being resurrected. Even if it meant doing bad things, he was corrupted, and clearly willing to go through a lot of sacrifice for his sister. Not to mention, he doesn't have any memories of Uldren, and it's a damn video game, a plot going a certain way is really never a reason to get up in arms to the point where you're saying that it's a "slap in the face to fans of Cayde."

6 RepliesSo what exactly were you expecting that you didnt get? I enjoyed the story and everything else in the game and looking forward to everything with the annual pass.. Sometimes ya gotta look at what you have and be happy you have instead of looking for stuff you don't have and being mad about it.. Not a healthy way to live guardian

3 RepliesThe whole point of a game is money lmao

Ever heard of “setting the stage” Basically what this is all about.

11 RepliesIf this ruined forsaken for you i really can just laugh. You're letting the revival and continuation of a characters story ruin a game for you.. I feel like its a good thing, it makes for another interesting story in this game.

1 Reply<Are ya kidding? It's been the most lore-friendly content since TTK. Not to mention that it provides a shit ton of story opportunities.>
-
4 RepliesYes. That and revitalizing the community. They hoped Forsaken would turn the game around and make it better overall. In my opinion, the game has improved a lot which brought me back into it.

3 RepliesMaking a product for money? Who'd a thunk
Also how does the reveal undermine anything? U.S. is dead, there's a new Guardian, that's it
2 RepliesIf it wasnt about money, what would it have been for? World Peace?
