5 Repliesmy worst to best; SoS, EoW, KF, Leviathon, Crota, WotM, VoG ** last wish I haven't even done, but heard it's VoG good, Vog to me was the best (and that's sad for it's the first one and it's gone south from there) not enough friends on to even try, gonna have to LFG it.

Sorry but how hard is it to give the bosses insane amount of health and say go ham. Doesn't matter how much ammo you have or what guns you have split between 6 people there is not enough damage that can be done to an enemy that is 10x taller than the guardians.

D1 raids why because back then that's all everyone was playing, now when you look at your friends list or at least mine no one is in a raid.

I have only done the Leviathan raid, did every d1 raid.... Don't even feel like I'm missing out on anything g with the new raids.

2 RepliesThe proper raids in both games are quite good. I dont count Crota's end as a raid due to its bare bones mechanics and short length. The raid lairs are short but they have solid mechanics that arent too ridiculous. My current raid ranking list is as follows. Last Wish Wrath of the Machine Kings Fall Leviathan Vault of Glass The reason VOG is so low is because once people discovered how to cheese templar and atheon the diificulty was reduced to the level of a strike since everyone would cheese and refused to do it any other way. Only problem i have with Last Wish is the same problem i have with VOG, people want to take the lazy approach and refuse to let anyone do it any other way. This is why for the longest time Wrath was my favorite raid, you couldnt cheese the encounters you had to actually know the mechanics and be able to do them.

" So... new Guy, in this room you have to pet your chicken, then jump up and down three times but before you touch the ground on your third jump you have to shoot his hair... we'll tell you what hair to shoot, going from his part in the middle of his head each hair counts left and right from 1 to 1045... then throw a grenade in his mouth... we then can start the Damage phase".

1 Reply4 full raids and vs 2 raids and two raid layers. Hard to compare. There is obviously more in d1 at the present time. but D1 had 3 years to be added to and tweaked. If I compare just the first two raids of each (VoG and Crota vs. Leviathan and Last Wish) to put them on level playing fields, I have to give the edge to D2.

In my opinion it went Wrath Vault Kings fall Last wish Crota And then the Leviathan I agree with many on here that the older raids focused a little less on gimmicks and we're easier to bring new players into. You could talk someone through a raid in a few attempts, now it's set up like a high paying job "you've got the education, but we're looking for experience". Every post you see now says "must be 590+ and have 10+ clears". To me that's indicative of how tiresome this raid is.

Everything in D1 was great, the D2 Y1 Raid Lairs were great, and Last Wish is great. Although I love the concept, Leviathan can go suck a dick.

1 Replythe only decent raid in D1 imo was Wrath of the Machine. many will say VoG just cause they are rose filled nostalgia glasses. --Crota was basically a strike (basically the same as EoW) --Oryx was super mechanical, which I liked but people hated. --VoG was cool sure, but the boss in the raid is basically the same as the boss in Leviathan, the strats are extremely similar.

All D1 raids are great, I hate leviathan and the raid lairs, but I love last wish. So I guess D1 raids are better.

Only completed last with once but I thought it was the best one in D2 so far. But the classic D1 raids were just so good
