Call it what it is... the Luna Grind may validate the effort and reward the skilled, stacks, and determined. But the grind isn’t fun, it’s not fun at all. As a matter of fact, this Grind has taken all of the fun out of destiny. I am so determined to get Luna’s Howl, that I won’t play any other mode. I haven’t touched PvE in weeks. I don’t have fun playing the game, I only play because I’m determined/obsessed with achieving this goal. I wanted to start a new character, a Warlock because I think it would fit my play style and be fun, but I can’t because I’m on this quest. I’m burnt out on Destiny, but won’t give up. I’m just here to say, that while I’m still playing, I’m not having fun. This is work. If I was smart, I would spend my time doing something else besides wasting hours on this grind. It’s a waste of time. But I’m determined. But, when I do earn Luna’s Howl.... then what? Grind for Not Forgotten, what a pipe dream that is. Not fun. Hopefully I don’t quit all together after achieving this goal, but right now... I’m definitely starting to feel defeated and hopeless in this effort. I’m determined and will keep grinding... but it’s unhealthy, frustrating, enraging, and honestly... disappointing. I get it, the reward is what it is because it’s a good weapon and the grind makes you feel like you achieved something... but it’s not fun. I get it, this grind gives purpose and a reason to play... but it’s not fun. Not fun at all. Edit: After losing 6 matches in a row today, I officially give up trying to do this solo. I haven’t had much luck finding a team, but I give up solo. It’s a wasting of -blam!-ing time. Edit: Just learned that it doesn’t matter which character you hit Fabled with as all points count towards the account and not the character. This help with the fun factor as I’m switching my main to Warlock, I think.
