Leave sleeper alone
I say leave sleeper alone I’ve played destiny since year 1 of d1 and they always do crap like this because a few people cry about how they get killed by a certain weapon to much and it ruins it for the people who play the most I’ve been killed by it many times so what I deal with because I’ve just as many maybe more with it. It’s not a hard gun to get so instead of trying to ruin the game by messing up our best weapons just learn how to use them if you need help I’d be happy to teach you just stop trying to mess the game up for others

1 ReplyI agree. Sleeper is a pretty easy exotic to get and it’s good even without the catalyst. Anyone can use it so what’s the big deal. I hate being caught with a sleeper in Gambit, but honestly I would hate it no matter what killed me, especially when I’m heading to the bank with 15 motes. I hardly ever go for more than 10 motes because it seems every time I do and I start heading back to bank them, the bank drops and 1-2 blocker pop up, followed by the Drifter saying, “Invader on the field,” and that dreadful music playing. Uuuuuggghhh 🤬🤬🤬

20 RepliesWhen a majority of people all flock to one weapon that very clearly outperforms every other gun in the game, that's an overpowered weapon. Obviously it shouldn't be nerfed hard, but to say it doesn't need ANY change for the sake of game balance is simply absurd

Don't want to be forced into using a gun just because it's meta, destiny is a looter shooter and people should be able to feel like they can use a variety of guns... not just one.

4 RepliesOne indication to me that it should be left alone is its relative lack of use in other PvP modes. I rarely see it in Crucible. If it were so OP, we'd see it all over the crucible. Though, that may be a function of the tighter spaces in crucible rather than in Gambit. I believe this is also the reason we see a few more sniper rifles in Gambit than we have in crucible over the last year.

Don't waste your time, here's the instructions: 1 - Equip the Sleeper. 2 - Aim in the general direction of the enemy nameplate. 3 - Hold trigger. 4 - Watch the enemy melt.

People that think they are good at the game for using sleeper are the same ones that think they are good for using the Colony. [spoiler]Sleeper isn't a crutch for bad players, its a wheelchair that intergrades into a flippin Gundam. [/spoiler]

Sleeper will be the same the only thing that is changing is that it requires more skill to use

Just make it so it's not a one shot-body shot in PvP and it'll be fine.

Nerf invader oversheild instead. Te already come in with power, super amd know where everyone is. It wont make sleeper any less dangerous, but your other options start looking better. Eh, just a thought. I use it. I suck at killing invaders. Its probably the sole crutch that makes the mode enjoyable for me. The invader one shots you with power weapons or super anyways with all the advantage.
