Ace of spades pvp quest steps are trash
I just watched a video on YouTube telling us how we get the ace of spades.
5 gambit invasion kills, and 25 precision kills all with a hand cannon WTF bungie.
Why do you insist on forcing us into your trash PvP.
Gambit I understand as it’s new, much like the EP steps for PL and SS so I’m ok with that.
25 hand cannon kills in PVP is going to make me rage all the way through the quest as since the Warmind changes I have hated PvP and avoid it as much as possible, and I know I’m not alone in this.
Strikes, finding this and that, a mission (even if it is hard)... and may be gambit I’m down for but we should not be forced to play this so called PvP mode for something that’s part of the storyline.
I was so hyped for Tuesday after the last Videos and Info from bungie and YouTube, but this has just deflated my hype balloon. and as I have not preordered it I’m kinda wondering if I should bother as it looks like more of the same bungie pushing there PvP agenda.

Edited by Necron3145: 12/23/2018 2:34:30 PMWell i regularly get 0 to 1 actual kill per match in quickplay (rest are all assist) I think my highest kill count was 4 or 5 not counting assist i think my kda would be around 0.05 to 0.1 (with assist is 0.3, i checked my pvp banner thing) this is gonna take a while

Destiny will never be a overwatch or call of duty, nobody buy this game to play pvp GET THAT And wrost , you put that in cayde weapon , if it was any other weapon , but no , do this in the weapon that is the COVER for the expansions. You are the most toxic people I've ever had the chance to read the words you've typed into a forum. Everyone should be able to enjoy all aspects of this game. I didn't buy D2 in Year 1 purely because I heard all the good loot was in PvP, and the only reason I have it now is because it was free. Like others have said, there needs to be an either/or type option for everything in the game. People that despise PvP/PvE should have a choice. And I don't want to hear any of this "You don't deserve it" crap, that's not fair to [b]anyone[/b], how would you like it if literally all the good stuff in the game was locked behind something you're utterly terrible at/hate with a passion? You wouldn't like it, and you'd be stuck with trash gear. Everyone needs to understand where others are coming from, and not just call them trash, or to "get gud." In short, Bunjie should change this step, because it's too hard for some people. Edit: Got a Duke Mk.44 and did Rumble. Took [b]me[/b] 6-7 games. You people aren't trash at PvP, [b]I am.[/b]

The Devs changed the first step so that we can get PvE kills now.... so the Devs now need to change the last step so that we have a chance with that too.... Paid over $120 at least if not more.... You would think that the Devs would care about PvE players just as much as PvP Players.... I never cared for PvP, and there is just no way to get the 25 kills necessary whatsoever

So many rude people here. Even if I can get precision kills in PvP, the fact that I'm forced to play a mode I find UTTERLY BORING (same little zones, running around in circles, shooting each other in the face...) to do a QUEST step is what is messed up. Other games manage PvP and PvE options perfectly. Why is it so hard to make the player be able to choose? Example: Do 50 kills in some PvE stuff OR 25 kills in PvP. Easy as that. Let the player choose. And knock it off with this hateful "don't deserve" crap. Cayde's will was that whoever kills him gets his stuff, and then whoever kills that guy and so on. So we technically already got the gun. It's merely broken. Banshee said we could fix it with Cayde's stash, but then the quests steps are all about "calibrating". So...

Yeah, I hate Crucible too. I really only do it on required stuff, Ace of Spades, Solstice of Heroes, ect. [b]Hate[/b] the 12yearolds screaming at me over my headset, [b]hate[/b] the teabaggers, [b]hate[/b] the douches who oneshot you with a melee after you've shot them in the face 12 times with a masterworked Better Devils. That said, Crimson is the secret here. Like I said, I [i]never[/i] play it unless necessary, but with Crimson I'm averaging 5-6 HC precision kills per match, with that it doesnt take very long. Another trick that speeds up the process, play Rumble. When you don't have teammates to worry about, you can basically run around with a Crimson and fire like a madman at the upper half of anything that moves to rack up Precisions quickly.

The timing kind of sucks since now everyone is running around with grenade launcher, fusions and shotties

I have no problem with PVP even if I do not like it. But 25 prefect kills me silly. How should that work without camping? All others come with rocket launcher, grenade launcher, shotgun. And you with your "pistol" have to land 25 Precise hits. 25 kills with a pistol, I still think okay, but Precise is totally puke.

If ign people can get 5 gambit invasion kills in a round, then I think it’s safe to say you could get 5 hand cannon kills in a round.

5 RepliesYou realize any normal person would be able to finish these steps in two PvP matches, right? Stop crying. You can either get the kills and get your hand cannon, or use other weapons. This is a prime example of why everything in this game gets nerfed, people cry about every little thing.

Yeah come on Bungie, put the best weapons in the game or the most favored weapons in the game behind the easy to do strikes and PvE challenges. It should be like this Ace Of Spades Challenge 1. Log in 2. Kill 50 enemies with anything 3. Collect your weapon from Banshee for free, also it’s max PL. PvP is not that hard. Even coming from me, and I can’t emphasize this enough, [b]IM TRASH[/b] at PvP but 25 headshot kills with a hand cannon is nothing.

2 RepliesI think the 25 head shots with a hand cannon in PvP will be ok. It’s the 5 invasion kills that could be annoying as your whole team will be trying to kill them. Hopefully assists will count for the Gambit invasion kills.

2 RepliesIf you don’t use crimson for this what are you doing playing Destiny 2. At least stop complaining when there are VERY easy ways to get this step done. Destiny is a PvE and PvP game. If you can’t stand either so badly that you refuse to do it, this is the wrong game for you.

It wouldn’t be the first time I didn’t get a weapon due to pvp quest steps and it won’t be the last. I’ll just leave the quest open at that stage and get it if I get it. Never been a fan of crucible but quests steps like this have been in the game for years and Bungie aren’t going to change them now.

If it was Shaxx’s weapon, that would make more sense, , But it was Cayde’s weapon, he’s basically a PVE NPC. RIP D1 ACE OF SPADES.
