As title really. I'm more of a pve person, and this sounds alot better due to no pvp ballance issues you get with destiny.

No, and while i feel like its a good thing, allowing them to focus on the story and world it could give the excuse for them to put in loot boxes as there would be no P2W mechanics that would affect other players
-
Not really. I love some good PvP from time to time but I also love PvE, in games like Destiny and Anthem I like PvE much more than PvP. When PvP does come out though I wonder what kinda stupid cheese I can find, maybe Mortar/Freeze nade with some buddies.
-
I'm all for it, I feel there are enough pvp options coming in the coming months to satisfy all the pvp needs someone might have.
-
If it has pvp I will not buy it don't want another game killed for balance looking at you destiny 2
-
2 RepliesIf Anthem is released without PVP i'm 100% not purchasing the game.
-
Now, the EA name has me worried.
-
Edited by TheArtist: 7/3/2018 1:21:11 PMNope. It gives Anthem a chance to avoid many of the problems that have plagued both Destiny and The Division. Well designed loot-based games don't need PVP.
-
It excites me since there'll be no nerf culture and split focus between pvp & pve.
-
Not at all. Destiny has had a terrible pvp implementation because of ‘balance’ which killed a lot in pve.
-
Actually makes me want to buy it more now that they’re not going to sell out the rest of the game for a shit pvp mode
-
This is a very good thing. Getting the world, enemies, and loot right is the biggest challenge and not having to worry about pvp balancing really helps in achieving that. Besides pvp could be added later when the game has been out and the developer has had sufficient time to make a separate mode for pvp complete with weapon balancing that doesn't effect pve.
-
Nope, if anything it made me go from totally uninterested to intrigued.
-
Meh, PvE loop better be more interesting than the garbage bioware pushed out last time.
-
I love playing competitive, but anthem seems like the co op enthusiasts masterpiece. So no it doesnt put me off. I'm really looking forward to this game.
-
Not at all. I don't mind PvP but, I dislike when it impacts my PvE experience via nerfs.
-
Not at all, that's the way it should be. The fact that so many people think that PvP should be a part of every single game is both laughable and ridiculous. They'd be the same people on the forums b*tching and moaning about balancing issues and asking for constant nerfs. Anthem is better off for the lack of PvP in my opinion.
-
No. But I’m really not concerned. I enjoy a few games of PvP every now and then, but I don’t go looking for it. Honestly, the prospect of being required to take part in it is mentally exhausting. Cooperative play is infinitely better in my eyes.
-
Honestly, Destiny would be a better game if Bungie seperated PvP from PvE. With 4v4 for most of the last year, I played D2 like it didn't have PvP. You might wonder how I'll get my PvP fix with Anthem. Maybe I'll play Fortnite, Overwatch, or one of the dozen other PvP focused games vying for my time.
-
Nope, because like you said, a big problem Destiny had was that PvE kept getting worse as they tried to "balance" PvP. Hopefully the absence of PvP will allow them to make the PvE incredible. I also prefer PvE/Co-op games, so this is good news to me.
-
1 ReplyFrom what I've read, BioWare won't include PVP at launch, but may have the option in the future.
-
Nope. I prefer it. Means they can put more focus onto the gameplay.
-
Nope, it makes me more excited knowing there’s no PVP in it
-
1 ReplyEdited by Numero Uno: 7/6/2018 3:48:55 AMNope, didn't intend on wasting my money on it to begin with. It does make me more interested to see how the game is received, if it does well I may make the purchase come sales.
-
It doesn't change it for me, still not buying it.
-
The new Gameplay trailer looks good.. Shame this won't be out till Feb. Could of got away with out getting forsaken 😂

4 RepliesAny third person game with PvP is pretty bad in my opinion.
