Rom. Design wise, the boss fight seems more like a gamble rather than “skill will persevere”; if you’re hit once, you’re dead, plain and simple.
Lore wise however, Cleric Beast is somewhat boring compared to the others. Was a Cleric, now a Beast!

I hate Rom. You have to kill all the spiders that can will 1-shot you unless you come prepared and if you don't there will be a ton in the next phase because they don't despawn. At least in Dark souls 2 you can just use a torch and then the little spiders run away for the spider in the desert area.

I actually find killing the Romlets to be more risky. I prefer hit & run tactics on Rom herself. Though, Tonitrus makes the fight much easier, if you’re ever having trouble.

This is exactly my strategy. The only Romlets (cute name) that I kill are in the first wave.

I don’t even kill those ones. Kust wastes time the way I see it.

I do it because you can damage Rom straight in to it's 3rd phase.

The Romlets tend not to get in the way for me.

Ludwing's Holy Blade can kill them very quickly if you hit the front or insta kill them from the back. Most of the bosses in the game are easy with LHB, unfortunately. Take that big fish thing that you need to kill to rive the lady in the castle. It gets staggered so easily with charge R2s.

Ludwig’s Holy Blade is actually one of my not very liked weapons. My first build used it, but weapons like the Reiterpallasch, abd Tonitrus are not only more fun to use, but actually served me much better.

Since I like Souls games more and I like using great sword and UGS, LHB fit my play style best. The axe is really fun to use for the charge R2 though.

I’m not a fan of heavy weapons myself. I prefer faster weapons because they quite literally just don’t weigh me down as much.

I love every boss in Bloodborne, so don’t take my statement as “I hate the Cleric Beast”. Lore is just kinda “meh” compared to everyone else.
