Hello, I tried unlinking it and it still gave me the same message "Authentication Error We were unable to sign you into your Xbox Live account. Please visit xbox.com and sign in to verify/update your Xbox Live account. This error usually indicates that your Microsoft account has no Xbox Live Gamertag, or that your account must be updated in some way, such as agreeing to updated terms of use." I do not know what to do since it did not work please help thank you and I look forward to seeing a response.

And is there anything you see that is causing the error? Bungie does not have its own authentication methods, so if it is saying something’s wrong with your Microsoft account then it is Microsoft you need to contact.

I honestly do not know. I’ve tried to have Microsoft help but they’ve sent me to Bungie’s support and I don’t know if this might help or not but the account I’m trying to remove is a banned account from my Bungie Profile.

That’s why then. If the account is banned, you cannot log into it. If you cannot log into it then you cannot Unlink it. There’s nothing Bungie can do to help you there.

Yes. Unfortunately, unless Microsoft will let you access it to remove it.
