This is before I repaired any converters. I jump to a platform from far away but my character doesn't jump high enough to reach the platform above. I watched a youtube video and they do it easily there. Must be a bug:

Use arcstrider, super easy jump.

1 ReplyBTW, I have a warlock character. In the meantime I've fund this thread and after 30 minutes trial and error I managed to get through this part just to find myself facing an ever more difficult one: https://www.bungie.net/en-US/Forums/Post/230567274?sort=0&page=0 This is absolutely ridiculous, no one explains how the warlock jump works and it's like playing a 30 year old platformer, extremely frustrating, completely spoiled the fun. Don't buy Destiny 2, unless you love a great deal of frustration.

its not a bug and from the comments i can only say that you should practice the warlock jump because it ain't easy at all

I knew even before reading that you were going to say you're on a Warlock. Their jump is a bit different from other classes. To get more height, you have to hit jump twice very quickly, and you'll get more height while stationary, rather than while moving. Also, make sure your subclass has the jump mode selected that says it will give you the most height. It may take some time to get used to the timing, but trust me, the jump can be made.

Edited by Felicity_Faye: 2/1/2018 5:44:00 PMWeird. Out of the 3 classes I find it the easiest and get the most height on my Warlock. 🤷🏻♀️ Practice makes perfect. Time for you to load into a location and do nothing but jumping around for a few hours every day until you get a feel for the Warlock jump. 💁🏻♀️ The game is made so that every class with any type of jump can play through all activities and reach all places of importance regardless of the mobility stat.
And you probably haven't even played around with the Blink jump yet, which is arguably the hardest jump to use, and yet people use it to speedrun raids, going through the jumping puzzles like it's nothing. It's clearly Bungie's fault that you (and apperently others) don't know how to use the Warlock jump. 🤦🏻♀️
